We heard you loved last week's spotlight hat-trick, ⚽ so we’re serving up another major feature release—on the house! We’re thrilled to welcome Feedback to the Performance Management family. Sending, receiving and requesting feedback is now 🎶 as easy as A B C, 1 2 3!

This update’s gift sock 🎁 is not empty yet: there's greater control in Attendance with additional options for Target Attendance rewards, and a handy modification to Restricted Days in Payroll & Leave.

Feedback 👏🏼 in Performance Management

Platform

  • We’ve updated our unsupported browser screen to alert you when you’re not using one of our supported browsers—Chrome, Edge, or Opera. Consider it a friendly reminder of where the real magic 🌠 happens, so when you spot it, switch to a supported browser for the best Indigo experience!


Attendance Enhancements

  • Our Target Attendance feature just got a major upgrade which gives you greater control over Rewards! 🎖️ Now, you can reward overtime not only for excess hours worked but also based on the specific days they were clocked—like public holidays or designated days.

    • You’ll find these new options in the Type dropdown under Rewards > Target Attendance > Conditions:

      • Works on specific day(s).

      • Works on public holiday(s).

      • Is not a public holiday.

  • We’ve enhanced the Excel version of the Allocations report with columns for additional advanced details (the PDF report remains unchanged):

    • Shift hours from the normal scheduler

    • Punches

    • In – Actual/Expected

    • Out – Actual/Expected

    • Hourly rate

    • Exception tags

    • Allocations value

    • Allocation type

    • Date

Device Manager

  • If an activity fails on your devices, you can now easily find out what went wrong. Simply click the error button within the activity to read a full error description. No more users stumbling in the dark for help from the tech gurus! 🔦

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • The GetShiftSchedule public API no longer requires you to include an 'Employee Code'. If omitted, the API will now return schedules for all employees you have access to.


Hiring Enhancements

  • We're happy to announce our latest addition to the external integrations on Hiring is 📣 KeepMePosted! Now you can fish in wider waters to reel 🎣 in the perfect candidate.

  • Our freshly-updated landing page has been given a touch of finesse! With improved visuals for bullet points and buttons, along with a repositioned menu item, it’s a subtle yet refreshing enhancement to your navigation experience. 🌻

  • System administrators will be pleased to see they can now enable IP restrictions for the public Career Page. Simply add specific IP addresses, multiple IPs, or an entire subnet to the whitelist in the Career Page Settings.

  • Thanks to integrating Google Fonts, you can now customise your Career Page right down to the font via Career Page Settings.

  • The Team Discussion Chat now supports tagging people outside the chat—so you can rope in 🪢a teammate more easily.

  • You can now upload files (including images) in any chat in Hiring, and preview files before opening or downloading them.

  • We've enhanced the iFrame settings to allow users to stay on the website with the embedded iFrame. Now, clicking on a job card from your website will open the job details page opens directly within the iFrame. (Please note, applicants will still be redirected to the Careers Page when clicking on a job card.)

Hiring Fixes and Improvements

  • Indigo Hiring has been honed for happier handling, with greater stability across the board.

  • Error messages throughout Hiring have been re-written for better clarity.

  • The email filter on the All Applications screen has been fine-tuned.

  • When adding an applicant manually, if you leave 'Applicant Source' empty it now shows as 'Not Specified' by default.

  • Submitting an application without a cover letter is working as expected.

  • The Analytics page will show stats for the last 30 days the first time you access it.

  • The Analytics tab opens just fine after moving an applicant to any folder.

  • We've adjusted several blocks in the Careers Page, making sure their property lines are being respected.


HR Fixes and Improvements

  • For those still enjoying the comfort and increased productivity of working from the couch, 🛋️ rejoice! The Working Remotely leave type is back in the dropdown menu on the screen accessed from the My Leave Planner widget.


Payroll & Leave Enhancements

  • An unwanted click can make a big difference in the Global Basic Pay Adjustment. To keep things smooth and error-free, the Effective Date field now displays 'dd/mm/yyyy' as a default placeholder, and '0.00' for the Minimum Wage Field. Enjoy the peace of mind! 😌

  • When it comes to ensuring you have enough staff to cover your rosters, it's better to be safe than than sorry. 😱 You can select percentage leave capping for Restricted Days even for an odd number of employees. The resulting fractional figure will be rounded down to the nearest whole number, preventing the system from overestimating the required staffing levels.

Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements

  • We’ve enhanced the exported version of the Leave History report by adding a 'LeaveRequestID' column. This column provides unique identifiers for leave requests, improving data traceability and record accuracy.


Performance Management Fixes and Improvements

  • Few things are as frustrating as losing all your work on a form due to a single, unfortunate misclick. Thankfully, such incidents are now even rarer in Performance Management. You can no longer accidentally leave creation or edit screens—like those for templates and objectives—by clicking outside the screen. To exit, you’ll need to actively click Cancel, Submit, or Save, depending on the screen and your intentions.
