Hello Indigo users,

You might still be full from the previous feast of an update, so we've kept this one light.

This lemon sorbet 🍋 release brings two seemingly small but refreshing feature spotlights: the auto-import of leave in the Scheduler, and transferring encrypted Direct Credit files by SFTP.

Following on with the digestif, you'll find that the Position History tab and the Unscheduled Location Clocking Validation have both been powered up.

Keep reading for the coffee ☕ and biscuit 🍪 details below. 👇🏻

Feature Spotlights

Auto-Import Leave in the Scheduler

You asked 🗣️, we listened 👂🏻: you can now set Indigo to automatically import leave entries into the Scheduler, thanks to a new setting called 'Automatically Import Leave to Scheduler'.

This means after you switch on the setting, you can say 'Goodbye' to manually importing and updating the Scheduler with Leave entries. 🙌🏻

Send PGP-encrypted Direct Credit files by SFTP

Transfer your Direct Credit files easily and safely, using the new SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) function. To double down on security, you can also enable PGP encryption, ensuring that only the intended recipient can open the files you send via SFTP.

Contact support@shireburn.com to start using this feature now.

Platform

  • Indigo shows an error message when a user submits multiple 'Work Remotely' requests for the same date via the Employee Portal, as intended.

Attendance Enhancements

  • The Unscheduled Location Clocking Validation has been fine-tuned. Now, if an employee accidentally clocks in at the wrong location, no-one will be notified—unless a Location Manager’s email address is entered for that location.
A handy tooltip has also been added next to the Location field in the Shift Preset settings to explain its purpose.

Scheduler

  • We made your life easier by displaying the name and code in the 'View Employee Clock-In Data' pop-up in the Scheduler. Now, you can quickly identify whose data you’re looking at, even while scrolling.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • The 'Deducted from (Leave type)' dropdown, in Attendance Exceptions' Daily Attendance Allocation modal is properly opening downwards when displaying more than three values, without overlapping.

  • The Attendance Reconciliation and Clocking Details reports' content is accurately displayed, with all text and sections set in their designated positions.

  • The Clocking Details report's URL matches the report's name in Indigo. The same applies to the Clocking Weekly, Clocking Summary and Clocking Exceptions reports.

  • The toggles in the Clocking Map View's settings are responding to clicks as they should.

Device Manager

  • Seamlessly create device users in Device Manager. They will be shown as Active by default, as intended.

Scheduler

  • Any declined 'Sick Leave' or 'Out Of Office' requests are now removed from the Scheduler, as expected.

  • The message informing you that there are no Attendance Employees to be shown in the Scheduler is now properly worded and free of unnecessary repetition.

HR Enhancements

  • In Employees, the Position History tab now ensures that only existing values for Department, Section, Unit, Occupation, Location, and Grade are loaded, edited, or inserted. It works as a proper bouncer 🕶️ keeping non-existent values out of our exclusive party.

HR Fixes and Improvements

  • 🎶'Celebrate good times, come on!🥳' You won't miss the chance to congratulate your employees on their work anniversaries, as the current year is considered when calculating the next anniversary, rather than the year they were hired.

Skills & Training

  • In the Training & Certifications widget, an entry's Status is set as 'Completed On Hold'—when the Start Date is not set, and the Completion Date is in the past—as expected.

Task Management

  • The Template, Task Type, and Category names are displayed as expected throughout Task Management, even when they start with '<'.

Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements

  • If Restricted Dates are set, the user can only apply for the remaining available dates from both the Employee Portal and the Indigo Mobile app, as expected.

  • The 'Invite Indigo Employees to Mobile App' screen accurately resizes when removing any selected filters.

  • When generating the Electronic Lodgement, the dates in the F3 file display the correct year according to the submission year.

    For example:

If submitting for 2024, the date should be 31/12/2024.

If submitting for 2020, the date should be 31/12/2020.

  • You can expect to see the correct number of entries when grouping the results by Unit in the Leave History Report.

  • You can smoothly cancel leave scheduled for the 31st of December—before the leave starts—as intended.

Performance Management Fixes and Improvements

  • If a warning message is shown while creating a Feedback entry, anything written in the 'Feedback Subject', 'Description', and 'Feedback From' fields will now remain filled in, instead of being cleared.

  • Even if the 'Multiple Answers Custom Score' is set to zero, it will still be included in the Analytics grid calculation.
