💻 Platform
Loading truckloads 🚚 of data every time you open a screen is a hard drive. 😆 We've added a date range picker to the Notification Centre, which by default only displays the last 30 days of notifications.
This means the screen won’t load all notifications at once anymore, helping you avoid long waits and pesky freezes. ❄️
🕘 Attendance
If you head on over to the Attendance Exceptions screen, you'll notice that the Columns selector menu ( ⚙️ ) has two new residents: First Device In and Last Device Out. They will help you further tailor the grid's view to your requirements.

In the Assign To section of a task, the previous dropdown option Employees With Occupation has been renamed to Group of Employees. 👪
We've also made group assignments more versatile. When the option above is selected, a new dropdown menu called Group will appear. This menu lets you choose from several types of employee groupings, including Occupation, Department, and Cost Centre.
This gives you more control and flexibility when assigning tasks.
For example, you can now assign a task not just to employees with the same occupation, but to an entire department or cost centre, depending on your needs.

In Task Management:
There were some stubborn tasks that were remaining 'unassigned' after being imported from the Employees screen, despite having assignees. They've had a stern talking to ☝️ and will now keep their intended assignment status.
The filter search boxes in the Setup section are working as intended.
We've adjusted the icon placement in notifications for inactive task types.
We've improved the alignment of fields under the Assign To section for a better user experience.
When using the Create Task screen, the selected task type now remains visible after the validation message is displayed.
📱 Mobile App
Android and iOS v3.3.8 are now live! 🚀
🤖 🍎 Android & iOS: A new option is available in the More section of the app to change the leave calendar start day to Monday instead of the default, Sunday.

🍎 iOS: Resolved the flickering of the Clock in/out button in the My Schedule section of the app.
💸 Payroll & Leave
We have enhanced the public API: Get Leave Entries to include the authoriser's name, image URL, and occupation.
We've added a quarterly option to the frequency dropdown in the Employee Salary Package screen. This allows you to view and analyse salary data by calendar quarters, ensuring accurate prorated values for employees joining or leaving mid-quarter. 📆
The Export to Excel functionality now includes quarterly figures, aligning offline analysis with the UI.

After some brief relabelling 🏷️with one of our parameters, leave authorisers will now be able to view 'other' requests as usual.
All methods of exporting to Excel now default datetime values to a short date format, ensuring consistency across all reports and export implementations.
Exporting the Leave History grid will no longer include irrelevant information.
Some API commands that are used to update employee entries have been enhanced for more precise results.
When approving leave for an employee on a restricted day, a warning message will now notify you appropriately.
When generating a payslip, if you click 'Cancel Run' and confirm, the screen will now redirect to the calculation screen, as expected.
