Hello Indigo users,

We’re bidding farewell to spring with a flurry of fresh feature spotlights—three’s the magic number, so grab your hat 🧙 and let’s get into it.

In Performance Management, we’re conjuring up clarity with the new Global Performance Score—a smart little number that casts aside guesswork and tells you, plainly, how the review went. This spell 📜 is powered by Weighted Scoring, letting you decide which questions and sections carry the most weight in your templates. And for that extra spark, there’s a new question type: Numeric Rating Scale. ⚖️

Attendance isn’t lagging behind, bearing the remaining two spotlights. Time Zones have joined Indigo’s spellbook, ensuring your time records are kept accurate and local across all your companies. Meanwhile, a new report lets you scry 🔮 which of your staff is scheduled by hour, faster than you can say abracadabra.

🌟 Feature Spotlights 🌟

🏋️ Global Performance Scores in Performance Management

Number-driven insights are shaking things up with this tidy 3-in-1 update! 💃Reviews can now be set up to generate a Global Performance Score out of 100 based on how they’re answered, all for a clearer, more objective view of how the appraisal went. You’ll also more easily spot any gaps between how the manager and employee see things, spotlighting any clashes in expectations. 🤝

That score? It’s backed by Score Weighting, which is a new system that lets you set how much impact each question and section in your review should carry. Concerned about a maths-migraine? 💥 Don't worry! You'll be setting this up from a user-friendly screen, a click away in the Template Builder.

To top it off, there's a brand-new question type: Numeric Rating Scale. ⚖️ Template builders can now include questions with custom scales—1 to 5, 7, 10—and choose whether higher or lower numbers reflect better performance.

Let the numbers do the legwork while you focus on clearer conversations, fairer recognition, and smarter reviews. 🍸

🕘 Attendance

🗺️ Get in the Zone with Time Zones

Time zones have landed in Indigo Attendance, so say Saħħa! 👋🏻 to inaccurate time stamps across your international operations. Once a time zone is configured for a company, punch data and time entries will be automatically displayed in your company’s local time. The default time zone is CET.

  • Attendance pages, widgets and APIs will reflect the time zone you selected. You'll spot this in the Who's In report, the Employee Portal's Clocking Widget, and clockings submitted via the Indigo Mobile app.

  • Setup is managed by a drop-down setting called 'Time Zone', found under Attendance > Settings > Company Details. Just hit the Edit pencil, ✏️ click the menu and pick your time zone!

    • A matching, device-specific setting is also available in Device Manager's Edit Device screen.

  • ⚠️ These settings can only be changed if the company has no existing clockings. For clockings, physical devices need the same time zone setup.

👪 Perform a Digital Headcount with a Click

Hot off the press is our Scheduled Staff by Hour report, available in Attendance > Reporting. Generated using data fed directly from the Scheduler, the report will help you:

  • View team headcounts across a specific date range, broken down by the hour—perfect for evaluating staffing coverage and identifying gaps.

  • Filter by company, cost centre, and team to focus on the areas that matter most.

As always, this report comes with the level of detail and clarity you've come to expect, keeping you ahead of the game. 😉

💻 Platform

  • The Task Toaster has stopped popping up half-baked toast! 🍞 Previously when you scheduled a command, Indigo would show a 'command completed' pop-up. Now you’ll only see a subtle confirmation of the scheduling in the bottom corner of the screen, as intended.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • We’re big fans of 'show, don’t tell' so we’ve stopped shouting "{null}" in your Employee Directory exports. If a field is blank, we trust you’ll get the hint: there’s no info to show there. 😉

  • In Task Management:

    • An error used to pop up when selecting both Always assign to the applicable employee and Assign to specific employee. Not anymore. No more drama! 🤝

    • To prevent a torrential flood 🌧️ of emails, the button for deleting tasks will start disabling itself the moment it’s clicked.

    • We caught a prankster in the system! 🚓 Our automatic email responder was having a laugh, sending out 'task removed' emails just after you updated the task's assignee. It promised it won't do it again, and task emails will now behave as expected.

    • Your word is law, my liege! 👑 Whenever you disable a task type, it shall disappear from the list when making new task templates, and existing templates using it can’t be assigned anymore—just as you commanded!

💸 Payroll & Leave

  • We’ve improved exporting from the Lines tab in Administration > Import/Export Audit by adding a new 'Content' column.
