We’ve got a big new enhancement reporting for duty. From now on, all reports in Indigo will be processed in the background, so you can get on with your day while the system does the heavy lifting behind the scenes. 🏋️
⚠️ There is one small tweak to how generating reports works:
Prepare your report as usual.
Click Generate.
Instead of a new tab opening right away, you’ll see a progress bar appear at the top of your notifications list (click the bell 🔔 icon).
If it's a huge report, feel free to carry on with your other work. The report will keep generating in the background. 💪
Once it’s ready, you’ll get a notification with a link. Click it to open the report.

🖊️ Type and Track Personal Notes in Performance Management
Still penning confidential notes in coffee-stained notebooks, risking a peek from prying eyes? 👀 Now you can keep private, year-round notes on your team straight from your chosen direct or indirect report's profile page, within Performance Management. It’s a simple, secure way to track observations on your employees over time, helping you walk into review season fully prepared.
What you can do:
✏️ Publish text-formatted notes that remain private: Only the manager who created a note can view it, so not even HR has access. 🔒
🖼️ Attach images or documents.
📋 View all notes for an employee in a tidy, chronological list.
So that's a wrap on disorganised employee notes. Type honestly and confidently with Indigo's Performance Management. 💪
💻 Platform
It has been noticed that a couple of days were being left out of the date range picker 📆 in the Notification Centre under specific conditions. All dates you select will now be correctly included.
This change applies to all instances of the date range component.
The Scheduled Commands notification icon in the header will now display the number of pending scheduled commands, similar to the Notifications bell icon. Furthermore, the Scheduled Commands window (which shows when the icon is clicked) will display up to 5 pending scheduled commands, with a View All button for additional details. 📓

📇 Device Manager
A new command has been added to stop receiving 'fake clockings' with User ID 0. This option is now included in the list of activities sent to devices on startup, addressing a recent surge in these erroneous clockings as advised by ZK support.
Remote enrollment and amendment of passwords and card numbers 💳 for users is now allowed. This new functionality eliminates the need for physical access to devices, streamlining user management and reducing operational inefficiencies.
Administrators can add or edit passwords and card numbers directly from the Device Manager interface, with changes syncing automatically to linked devices.

The Clocking Details report will start displaying public holidays for terminated employees up to their termination date.
The Scheduled Hours Validation Report can now be generated for multiple employees (more than 10) with the Basic Pay Type set to 'Both' without producing an error, improving the process for large employee groups.
In the Scheduler, when it comes to employees with multiple leave entitlement profiles, Indigo will now accurately calculate leave costings based on the employee's assigned leave entitlement profile, rather than using an incorrect profile.

We have enhanced the bulk email functionality so that emails address their recipients appropriately with the correct name, rather than the name of the first recipient in the list.
Automated responses will now display the appropriate client branding, rather than the default Jobhound branding.

Say "Hello!" 👋 to more flexibility in organising task-related files. When creating a task template or ad-hoc task, users can now specify the location where attachments uploaded by the assignee will be stored.
Files already stored in your system will not be affected by this enhancement.

Over in Task Management:
A number of UI elements within the Tasks modal were getting antsy, but we've reached a compromise: 🤝
The Filter By task type options are now properly aligned and no longer overlap with buttons.
The Edit button visibility has been improved, ensuring it's always visible without requiring horizontal scrolling.
Task email notifications will start displaying names as [Name] [Surname] rather than the other way around, ensuring it matches employee profiles and reducing confusion, especially with foreign names.
Just a heads-up, the UI for entering new employees' names (surname first) remains the same to keep things consistent with your usual practice. 💪
Previously, HR administrators were unable to self-assign tasks using the Assign to me button. The functionality has been corrected, allowing HR admins to properly assign tasks to themselves.
💸 Payroll & Leave
A new Cost Centre field has been added to the Applicants module. This mandatory field must be filled out when creating an employee from the applicants module, ensuring compliance with internal policies and streamlining the onboarding process.

We have removed a redundant break line from a Cost Centre validation error message.
