Hello Indigo users,

You've placed this week's order at the diner, and we’ve been flipping updates on the grill non-stop! Performance Management is the cool cat of this release, winking 😉 at everyone, showing off its extended grid filters range.

Meanwhile, Attendance reports are dressed to impress with new columns and a shiny 'Remove Expected' checkbox. Task Templates just got a new 'Task Assignee/s' column corsage 💐, and Insights now has 💇‍♀️ flawlessly coiffed curls. They're all just about ready to be invited to prom.

To make the atmosphere absolutely perfect, we gave a well-placed tap on the side of the Indigo jukebox—now Task Management, Payroll and Attendance records are smoothly 🎶 playing. Besides, no more looping notifications when a report process completes.

Ready to do the 💃 twist? Bend your knees down below. ⬇️

⚠️ Note! If you're in software, bug-blasting is part of the job! 👾 We’ve neatly tucked away all info related to fixes (if any) at the bottom of each module's coloured box—click > 🛠️ Fixes and Improvements to check out the details.

🌟 Feature Spotlight 🌟

🎯 Spot-on Filters in Performance Management Grids

  • 🎶 Tell me more, tell me more… about those grid updates! 🎶 We've enhanced data visibility, because staying sharp is the real summer lovin’. Several pivotal fields have been added to the grids in the Employees, Review, Objectives, and Feedback sections—as well as the 9-box grid Review Scores page. You’ll now be able to view and filter by:

    • Company

    • Cost Centre

    • Grade

    • Occupation

    • Department

    • Section

    • Unit

  • To support this, we’ve also added the column selector (accessible via the cogwheel ⚙️ button as usual) to the following grid views:

    • Employees

    • Objectives (section) grid

🕘 Attendance

Attendance reports just got a slick upgrade.

  • When exporting the Overtime Requests report to Excel, it now includes two new columns:

    • 'Actual Overtime Hours’, and

    • ‘Overtime Cost’ (= [Actual Hours] × [Hourly Rate] × 1.5).

  • The Attendance Reconciliation report now includes a 'Remove Expected' checkbox, which hides the following columns to help users focus on actual attendance data:

    • 'Excess'

    • 'Attendance + Leave/PH'

    • 'Expected Attendance'

    • 'Difference'

You can now verify overtime expenses and spot attendance issues faster than a milkshake gets whipped. 🥤

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • The Attendance Reconciliation report now correctly displays the right Employee Type—whether 'Employee' or 'Sub-Contracted'—consistently across both workdays and OFF days.

  • When amending the 'Adjust Balance' value, the Allocations Report in the send to payroll preview is now showing the proper calculations.

👨🏻‍💼 HR

🗄️ Task Management

  • What's a leather jacket without the classic white tee? Incomplete! That's why we added a new column called Task Assignee/s to the Templates grid, to complete the look. 😎 Just add it through the column selector and start spotting at a glance who's expected to take on a task—whether it’s a specific employee, group, manager level (1st or 2nd) or just 'Applicable Employee.'

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • The Tax code length has been extended to more than 15 characters.

  • Freely set your conditions in the Assign To section within Task Templates or simply select 'Assign to the applicable employee'.

  • Import a task from a template, then create a new task and change the folder destination, including creating and selecting a new folder, without the 'Create Task' modal closing before saving.

  • You'll be properly warned if accidentally creating a duplicate folder.

  • The Import button appears as expected when a valid tied-to date is set—either automatically from the selected template (based on Task Type) or manually in the Import modal if no Task Type is selected.

    • ⚠️ Note: If all selected templates already have a tied-to date, the date selector is hidden. If at least one template does not have a tied-to date, the date selector appears and applies only to that template.

  • No HTML tags will be visible anymore when exporting Task Management Notes to Excel.

🔮 Insights

  • From visual coherence (like displayed text) to smoother usability of elements like scrollbars, we've waxed and combed the overall user experience, turning heads along the way. 😉

💸 Payroll & Leave

  • We've added a crispy 🍟 new SEPA file for My EU Pay.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • Banners will no longer interfere with the functionality of the Scheduler. The filter row will appear as it usually does.

  • Payroll Reports for multiple selected payrolls are now smoothly generating, thanks to a newly formulated reports notification structure. The new structure includes:

    • Name of report (e.g. Payroll Totals Report (Totals, Monthly Payrolls)).

    • Payroll codes displayed as a range (e.g. 2020-004–2021-001), meaning the earliest selected payroll is 2020-004, and the latest is 2021-001.

    • Date range for the selected payrolls (e.g. 01/04/2020 – 31/01/2021), indicating that the earliest payroll date is 01/04/2020 and the latest is 31/01/2021.

    • Company name.
