🌟 Feature Spotlights 🌟
Pay Items Activation Functionality
Tired of wading through old, discontinued pay items while looking for the right one? Now you can deactivate Pay Items and filter for only active ones! To do this, we've added:
A new 'Active' checkbox in Pay Items options so you can easily deactivate ones you no longer need. These are recognised throughout Indigo in every search, dropdown or grid that contains pay items, ensuring that only active entries are shown.
A new system filter, 'Active', in the sidebar of the Pay Items screen, that shows only active records when selected.
View-only Access in Performance Reviews
Do you need feedback from people outside an employee's reporting line, or possibly from another company in your group of companies? With the right permission, you can now get it easily, thanks to the new option that lets you assign roles, allowing you to share reviews in view-only mode with anyone in your tenant.
Apart from that, when giving access to confidential questions, you can decide if you want to give access to the manager or employee confidential questions respectively.
💻 Platform
Indigo's brand new Salary Calculator is accessible from within the Help menu in the portal. Clicking this will open the Salary Calculator in the Shireburn website in a new browser tab.
You'll be happy to know we've drastically improved our calendar across various screens in Indigo!
The biggest change is that now there's just the one calendar instead of two when clicking on the date range.
You can now click on the same date for both start and end dates.
Clicking anywhere outside the calendar will now close it.
🕘 Attendance
Employees' breaks are now included in the Daily Scheduler report in the new column 'Break Minutes', giving you a more complete picture. The result: improved clarity, better compliance monitoring, and a deeper understanding of employee availability.
You can now view and filter clocking data by Employee Type, making it easier to track subcontracted, salaried, or hourly staff. The new column is visible by default.
📆 Scheduler
Real-time cost feedback is back in the Scheduler! Managers can now see capped costs instantly when editing shifts, helping them stay on budget while managing large rosters, maintaining accuracy, and assuring usability.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements
The Scheduler API has been improved so that detached shifts include data for the colour code and shift name, along with their detached status.
Users without project permissions can now access the My Devices page in Device Manager normally, with project-related fields being disabled for them.
After some tweaks, the data grid in the My Devices screen is loading correctly every time once more.
We've improved how night shift clock-in and clock-out entries are matched up in Device Manager, making for more accurate attendance records and fewer errors.
Recalculating daily attendance in the Scheduler marks attendance time correctly.

🎓 Skills & Training
When exporting from All Employees, you'll now see Cost Centre, Department, Section, and Unit data immediately after Job Title in the exported file. This will help you analyse training, skills and certifications on an organisational level, making workforce planning easier and reporting more accurate.
🗄️ Task Management
Any user with permission to create a template will now see a new option, 'Applicable to all employees in selected companies' in the 'Applicable to' section of Templates. This checkbox enables you to make a template applicable to all employees in specifically chosen companies, so you don't have to update things manually.

Advance Payrolls are now automatically excluded from the payroll list when sending expenses to payroll, helping prevent tax-related errors. This ensures only valid payrolls are shown, even if Advance Payrolls are open.
When you save a task with multiple assignees in Task Management, only one notification for the action will be triggered now, instead of a message for each assignee.
In Task Templates:
Saving changes to a note in an existing template no longer resets the 'Assign to' field.
Templates with the option 'Include notes in email notifications' enabled are showing properly as 'True' in the 'Send Notes in Email' column of the Templates grid.
The folder destination updates and shows correctly when changing the Task Type of an existing template.
When creating or editing a template, selecting 'Group of Employees' in Assign To sets the accompanying dropdown to Occupations again, as expected.
The broken image in Expense Claim email notifications has been fixed, so you can say 'Goodbye!' to visual glitches in your emails.
We’ve fixed an issue in Expense Management where claims were incorrectly blocked when the all-time limit was set to 0 (and therefore, unlimited). You can now submit expenses as expected when limits are set to unlimited.
💸 Payroll & Leave
We've updated the default settings for vacation leave types, starting from VAC26, to ensure accurate pro-rata and public holiday entitlements. If you use the previous method in which public holidays are configured separately via the pro-rata leave entitlement tool, don't worry! Your setup will remain unchanged for full consistency.
The HSBC payroll bank file has been updated to meet the bank’s latest validation rules, ensuring smoother uploads and fewer errors. Structured and hybrid address formats are now supported for full compliance ahead of HSBC’s 2026 requirements.

The Basic Pay Difference report has had two fixes:
It's accurately reflecting only genuine basic pay updates once again.
Terminated employees and employees with a future start date are now correctly excluded.
When the 'include employer VOPS' option is selected in the Payroll Detailed report, it works as expected.
🏆 Performance Management
To improve transparency and clarity in performance evaluations, section and question scores within reviews are now displayed as fractions (e.g. 50/75) rather than percentages (e.g. 50%). This approach enables users to immediately grasp the actual significance of the score they’ve achieved; whether it reflects a strong performance, a satisfactory result, or an area requiring improvement.
We're giving you more flexibility when creating assessment templates, with a new feature that lets HR admins switch Scoring on or off for each multiple-choice question in Review templates. By default, the new Scoring toggle is set to OFF for multiple-choice questions, so if you want to include one in scoring then make sure to switch it ON.
We’ve introduced a smarter way to manage Performance Management licenses:
Transfer licenses easily: HR admins can now reassign licenses from terminated employees to new hires, helping reduce costs.
Preserve historical data: reviews and performance records linked to terminated employees remain available in read-only mode, ensuring compliance and continuity.
Reactivate when needed: if a terminated employee returns, their license can be reactivated, restoring full access and resuming billing.
Clear messaging and audit logs: the system provides clear prompts during license actions and maintains a full audit trail for transparency.

Admin users with access to multiple companies are able to give and request Feedback, as expected.
In Objectives, we've fine-tuned the permissions to ensure that employees can only delete key results if they created them themselves.
Scores now display correctly when switching a Short/Long answer question from text to a numeric, rating, or percentage type.
