Introduction

If you're looking for a quick way to check your accounts, the Nominal Accounts Report has you covered. It gives a clear, organised view of every nominal account in your system. It’s perfect for keeping for tracking accounts figures, sorting data, and exporting results without the hassle. Whether you’re prepping for an audit or just want your bookkeeping neat and tidy, this report makes it simple.


The Report

To run the report:

  1. Go to Nominal > Reporting > Nominal Accounts Report

    • You can also go to Nominal > Audit Trail > Reports button > Nominal Accounts.

  2. The Nominal Accounts Report page will open showing the full list of nominal accounts available in the system.

  3. In the Report Options:

    • Decide if you want to show account balances and foreign balances by ticking the relevant checkboxes.

    • Set up your sorting order using the Order by dropdown (sort by values)

    • Select Ascending or Descending in the Order direction dropdown.

⚠️ Important: what you see in the report grid and then in a report is highly influenced by user permissions and any active system record filters.
