Hello Indigo users,
February might be howling outside, but this first release of the month cuts through the winter gloom with a strong tailwind of practical improvements across Indigo.
Starting with our feature spotlight, a brand‑new Employees screen is now available in the Job Evaluation Tool (JET) that brings together the most important data you have set up in your Indigo company and the tool itself, so you can see how fairly your people are being paid at a glance. 👀
Meanwhile, Indigo's Platform foundations have been reinforced to handle queued processes more efficiently; while Hiring gains enhancements to the Preferences page and a boost to security.
In Payroll & Leave, you're getting greater control over report generation and clearer totals in the Payroll Report, while Performance Management users benefit from tidier screens and more intuitive behaviour in Objectives and Feedback.
Brew yourself something warm and settle in to read the details below. ⬇️

🌟 Feature Spotlight 🌟
👪 Spotlight Key Info with the Employees Screen in JET

See every active employee for a chosen year in one simple grid.
Instantly compare their total remunerations with the average for their occupation category.

In Task Management, the Import and Cancel buttons in the import template drawer now show clearly, no matter how many templates are listed.
💸 Payroll & Leave
We’ve introduced a safeguard to make generating Payroll Reports quicker and far less frustrating: the report will stop and prompt you to select at least one payroll before it runs. This simple check prevents unnecessary bulk reports and helps you get to the results you actually want without delay.

Company costs in the Payroll Detailed Report (Summary) are calculating correctly again.
When selecting 'Show beneficiary in Payslip' while the 'Split payment' option has expired, the payslip is generated as expected.
Employee imports now work properly when users have record filters applied. This lets you safely keep filters in place without disrupting onboarding data loads.
The Insert Employee Wage API endpoint is correctly updating position history, keeping employment records in sync with payroll changes for accurate reporting.
Earned leave totals on payslips are showing the right values.
The Employee Details Report displays the marital status as intended.
Locking a user from the portal no longer creates multiple scheduled commands. This tidies up background tasks and avoids unnecessary processing.

General Fixes
In the My Team grid, the 'Department' column value is now showing the name at the top and the code right below, reducing confusion when scanning department information.
The formatting icons for the ‘Employee Question Description’ and ‘Manager Question Description’ sections have been aligned properly when creating a question in a template, ensuring a cleaner and more consistent editing experience.
Evaluation Managers are now identified even when they are not the direct manager. This ensures performance reviews are routed and attributed to the right people.
Extra spaces in the Review Overview screen title have been removed, giving the interface a tidier look and a more polished review experience.
When removing an attachment in Personal Notes, no trace of it will remain in the window, avoiding any confusion when attaching files in the future.
The minimisation option for user cards has been removed on the View Review screen. User cards will remain expanded at all times to provide better clarity.
The spelling of 'Signature' in the generated Appraisal Report has been corrected.
In Objectives and Key Results, we have the following:
When an Objective reaches 100% completion, the button label will now read Mark as Completed.
Entering negative values in Key Results is working properly.
In Key Results, clicking on Remarks no longer closes the background Objectives screen. This lets users review and update remarks without losing their place.
Alignment issues in the Check In screen for Objectives have been smoothed out, creating a cleaner layout.
Changing a Key Result from numeric to percentage now displays the correct target value.
The 'Created on' filter for Objectives is using the right date format.
The ‘Re-open key result’ icon in Objectives has been restored to its proper place. You can revisit and amend key results when circumstances change, as intended.
There are a few more in Feedback:
The 'Requested by' field now shows the requester’s name, helping avoid confusion for users.
The 'Date Requested' column title has been updated to 'Date' for both requested and spontaneous feedback.
The 'View Feedback' screen clearly assigns the 'Feedback Subject', 'Feedback from' and 'Requested by' labels to the relevant people involved in the review cycle, bringing clarity to multi-party feedback processes.
When the Feedback Description field contains a lot of text, the Submit Feedback area will remain visible and easy to fill in, regardless of the description length.
Large images added in the ‘Write Feedback’ drawer will no longer display excessively enlarged. They'll scale correctly to fit the available space, ensuring clearer and more consistent formatting.
And over in Analytics, we have these improvements:
The 9‑box grid now shows the X and Y axis breakdown information even when one of the scores is zero, instead of displaying only a title and an empty progress bar.
In the 9-box grid, the average X Score and the average Y Score for each employee will match with the Total Score % of each respective employee, as expected.
Filters for X Score', 'Y Score', and 'Total Score' in Review Score analytics now return the proper values as expected.
Clicking the 'Review score' icon in Analytics behaves reliably and without showing any error once again.
