Improved automation in Receipts and Payments screens helps streamline allocation and calculation tasks:
Amounts can be calculated automatically thanks to a new dedicated 'Calculate receipts/payments amounts automatically' option. Once enabled, you can select the transactions to allocate and the receipt or payment amount in the footer will update accordingly.
The new⚡Auto-allocate button in the line items toolbar allocates amounts against the oldest transactions first. This makes it faster to process payments and receipts when working through outstanding items in date order.
