We thought we'd giddy up 🏇 with a trifecta of feature spotlights across Document Management (DMS) and Payroll. In DMS, you'll enjoy cleaner directory views with the new Hide Empty Folders toggle, and find what you need faster with the new All Documents grid. Meanwhile, in Payroll, recurring pay items can now be pro-rated automatically when unpaid leave applies, helping reduce manual adjustments and save valuable time.

🙈 Hide or Show Empty Folders with a Click
Keep your directories tidy with the new Hide Empty Folders toggle. Available in the All Employees, My Team, and Personal Directory screens, it lets you show or hide empty folders with a single click, making it easier to focus on the documents that matter most.
🔎 Find Documents Faster in the New All Documents Grid
Find documents faster with the enhanced All Documents grid. Launched with powerful search, filtering, and sorting tools, you can quickly locate the documents you need. Saved layouts, side-panel document previews, and bulk actions help streamline everyday document management and make working with documents more efficient.
🧮 Automatic Unpaid Leave Pro-rating in Payroll
Manual pay item adjustments are no longer needed when unpaid leave occurs. Payroll is now able to automatically pro-rate selected recurring pay items within the payroll period, while still allowing specific unpaid leave types to be excluded where required.
💻 Platform
We've introduced a range of UI and usability improvements to the notification bell and Notification Centre, including:
Improved layouts for smaller screens.
Cleaner notification pop-ups.
Better display of user names.
The Column selector icon displayed in several of our grids (such as in the Performance Management module) now uses a more consistent icon across Indigo for a clearer experience.
There's a new error message for users who try to export the licence report and are not subscription administrators.

Clicking the Log in to Indigo button in Overtime Approver emails no longer prevents users from accessing Indigo if they aren't already logged in.

Benchmarks now opens correctly for users who have a user filter applied.
🏢 Hiring
Hiring now includes a new company setting that warns the user when a recruiter submits applicants who already exist in the company database or are already linked to another recruiter under an active exclusivity period.
Duplicate application checks for agency submissions have been strengthened so the system can still identify an existing application for the same vacancy when Recruiter’s Email is used.

The careers page iFrame has been refined so all active job tiles display correctly.
Role assignments for default pipeline stages are now retained correctly when settings are saved.
Candidate records now keep the original submission date and original source when a later agency submission is made for the same person.
Applicants can now reply to chat messages successfully when opening the conversation from an email link.

📁 Document Manager (DMS)
HR teams can now open an Audit view in employee personal folders to review document activity complete, including dates and timestamps. Recorded activity includes file renames, path changes, deletions, downloads and more.
Nothing shouts "clarity!" like text tags, which have now replaced the old icons to make the share status even more visible. 🏷️
⚖️ Job Evaluation Tool
JET now supports pro-rata calculation for eligible Variable Pay Items for part-time and reduced-hours employees, based on the existing pay item setup.
The Refresh button on the JET Employees screen is now always available, with the screen showing the last refresh date and time.
JET now includes post-tax pay items by default unless Exclude from JET is selected on the pay item.
🎓 Skills & Training
The Employee’s Trainings and Certifications grid under All Employees/My Team now includes a Type column to show whether each record is a training or a certification.

In DMS:
The All Documents menu item now uses the correct icon in the side menu, also maintaining a consistent size while scrolling.
Meanwhile, in JET:
The Occupation Code column on the JET Employees screen now displays correctly and exports as expected.
Variable Pay calculations now include periodic payments correctly on the Employee Evaluation screen.
Also in Skills & Training:
Bulk-assigned training records now retain the Hours value entered during the initial save.
The All Employees screen now scrolls correctly, ensuring the Skills section and add options remain visible.
Employment Date now sorts correctly by the full date in Settings > Bulk Assign > Assign to Employee.
And over in Task Management:
The Applicable to section in Task Templates now resets correctly when saving templates set to all employees.
The Nationality counter now calculates totals correctly for users with broad Task Management permissions.
Task templates with large selections now load more efficiently in Edit Task Template.
🔮 Insights
Forecasting and Payroll Costs dashboards have been improved, including faster forecasting performance, a month-number slicer, and a new matrix view for payroll metrics.
📱 Mobile App
⚠️ Indigo Mobile App Version Compatibility and Updates
Starting in August 2026, devices running Apple iOS 17 or earlier and Android 9 or earlier will no longer be officially supported. While the Indigo Mobile app will continue to work on these operating system versions, future features may not be available, nor will we be able to fix any issues encountered on older versions.
We recommend updating to a supported operating system version to benefit from the latest features and improvements.

After a leave cancellation request, the Leave History screen now clears loading placeholders correctly once content is ready.
Leave History messaging has been aligned more neatly with the related record card for a tidier layout.
We’ve improved mobile app stability for users who were experiencing unexpected crashes.
During night shifts, the mobile app now retains the previously selected project when clocking out.
💸 Payroll & Leave
The Employee Schedule Report now supports employee custom fields as Group Levels, allowing employees to be grouped by their assigned custom field values.

Payroll calculations have been optimised behind the scenes by processing audit log entries in bulk, reducing database activity and improving performance.
Pro rata leave entitlement calculations have been refined to ensure more accurate leave balances for reduced-hours termination scenarios.
The Payslip Report generation progress bar has been updated to more accurately reflect progress from 0% to 100%.
SEPA file generation has been updated to support the latest Central Bank requirements, which require address details to be submitted in separate fields rather than as a single free-text address, helping to prevent payment rejections.
We've simplified payroll date validation by keeping the payroll screen open when date adjustments are required, allowing users to review and correct entries more easily.
The User Login Report now respects the selected user filter when the report is generated.
Reporting To details are now carried over correctly when creating Position History entries.
Changing an employee code is faster thanks to reduced execution times.
Payroll calculations for 4-weekly hourly employees have been updated to process government bonuses during termination more accurately.
