The Head Count report is used to list the employees working within your companies in a structured report. You can organise and filter data for the report by company or by various employee criteria.

  1. To access the report, go to HR > Reporting > Head Count.

  2. Choose what to include in the report by selecting the relevant entries from the grids in both the Payroll Company and Employee tabs, then pick the required settings from the sidebar on the right.

  • Summary: When checked, will only display the number of employees that work within the company. When unchecked, will display the names, employee codes, and other details of the employees in a list, while providing a total count.

  • Date As At: Set a date to extract the report for. If left blank, the report will be extracted for today's date.

  • Show Menu Name: check this box to show the menu name in the report.

  • Grouping: Use levels of grouping when displaying the total counts and lists of employees. When clicked, the page break icon will display each group level on a new page.

When you're ready, you can either generate the report or send it directly by email.

If you'd like the report in PDF, then:

  1. Click Generate PDF. A new notification will show in the Notifications πŸ”” menu at the top right of the screen, saying the report 'has started. You will be notified once it is complete.'

  2. When the report finishes processing, a new notification in the Notifications menu will read 'HeadCount report has completed. Open this here.' Click on the hyperlink 'here' to open the report in a new tab.

If you want Indigo to remember the settings for this report for future uses, check the Remember generated report settings at the bottom of the report setup panel.
