Written by Serena Santamaria

Hello Indigo users,

Did you hear that bell ringing? 🔔 No, it’s not time to head into class just yet—it’s time for a fresh set of Indigo updates!

This release is full of practical improvements, from a more flexible Document Manager experience to better project visibility and handling in Attendance, plus important SEPA updates.

We have also refined everyday experiences across JET and Skills & Training, to make common tasks a little easier.

So before everyone settles back behind their desks, here is your neatly labelled round-up of what's new.

👾 Sneaky gremlins, those bugs! Want to see what we’ve patched up and polished in Indigo? Just click > 🛠️ Fixes and Improvements at the bottom of any coloured box below (where available) to reveal that module’s hidden details.

💻 Platform

  • When a user is tagged in a comment on an employee profile, the Notification Centre alert displays the correct employee name and code as expected.

🕘 Attendance

  • In the Attendance Exceptions screen, quickly see which project is linked to each exception thanks to the new Shift Project and Project ID columns.

  • Automatically declined pending allocations now include the remark 'Automatically Declined' wherever allocation remarks are shown.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • Employees working overnight shifts are no longer marked as absent when Attendance Exceptions are calculated, with overnight clockings now reflected correctly in the attendance timeline.

  • We've improved mobile clocking by supporting the automatic assignment of projects linked to geo-tagged zones. This allows users to clock in and out successfully even when the project is hidden from manual selection.

👨🏻‍💼 HR

📁 Document Manager

  • Spend less time searching and more time working by customising the All Documents grid in Document Manager. Choose the columns you need, arrange them to suit your workflow, and return to the same saved layout every time.

  • And when you need to dig deeper, you can now search file audit entries by date directly from the Search bar in the Audit tab within the file details side panel.

  • Saying goodbye is never easy, but tenant offboarding is now less of a struggle. Document Manager files are included in the export and organised by company, employee, and document category, helping you transition more smoothly to other systems.

⚖️ Job Evaluation Tool

  • Not sure why the Generate with AI button is disabled in the JET Evaluation Profile? Hover over the button to see a tooltip explaining what is preventing its use and how to enable it.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • The Audit timeline in Document Manager has been refined with clearer layouts and improved visual consistency, making document activity easier to read at a glance.

  • In JET:

    • Factor Scores are displayed as numeric values rather than percentages for clearer interpretation.

    • Long section descriptions without spaces are now handled more neatly.

  • In Skills & Training:

    • Newly imported records appear automatically in the Skills & Training Reports screen, removing the need to refresh the page.

    • The animation displayed when no employees are available in the Employee selection window is now centred, providing a more polished experience.

    • Training and certification progress is reflected more accurately when records are completed on the current date.

    • We've added a tooltip for the Add button in the Setup screen to explain that System Skills cannot be created or edited manually.

    • The Create button for new training and certification entries remains unavailable until all required details have been completed.

    • Uploading an unsupported file type or oversized file now displays a warning message instead of leaving the application stuck in a loading state.

💸 Payroll & Leave

  • We've added a new SEPA file for Die Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft (DK).

  • We’ve updated Indigo’s standard SEPA Credit Transfer file to align with the November 2026 ISO 20022 requirements, helping payroll teams stay ready for upcoming banking changes. As a result, the SEPA files for the following banks have been updated:

    • APS

    • Citibank

    • JP Morgan

    • Lombard

🏆 Performance Management

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • The Actions column now appears at the end of supported grids in Performance Management, creating a more consistent layout.
