🌟 Feature Spotlights 🌟

♻️ Reverse, Reverse & Repost and Repost features

We have all been there. You spot a mistake ❌ just after posting a transaction, or you need to enter a similar transaction again and the thought of retyping everything is less than appealing.

With the new options available in the Sales Audit Trail, Purchases Audit Trail, and Nominal Audit Trail, you can:

  • Reverse a transaction when it needs to be cancelled.

  • Reverse & Repost to reverse the original transaction and create a draft ready for correction.

  • Repost to create a new draft from an existing transaction, making it easy to process recurring transactions or create similar entries with only a few changes.

Spend less time on data entry, reduce the risk of mistakes, and keep your records accurate with less effort. 💪

🗃️ Nominal Account Hierarchies

Financial reports 📊 don't always follow the structure of your chart of accounts. Nominal Account Hierarchies introduce a flexible reporting layer that lets you group nominal accounts into meaningful categories and totals, without changing your existing account structure.

This gives you greater control over how financial information is organised and presented in financial statements, making it easier to create reports that align with your business, management, and statutory reporting requirements.

🧮 Accounting

  • Need to rename a nominal account? The new Change System Codes utility changes the account code and its references throughout the system, helping keep your data consistent while saving time and reducing manual work.

  • The Client Statement Report includes a new ageing breakdown at the end of the report. Simply choose to view ageing by days or months, and the report will display the relevant figures accordingly. This provides a clearer picture of overdue balances and helps clients identify outstanding payments more easily.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • Reversed transactions are posted as expected even when unique external reference setting is configured, preventing reversal posting failures.

  • Manually entered business names and printing remarks are carried forward correctly when posting cash sale transactions.

  • The Description field character limit in transactions has increased from 30 to 50 characters.

  • VAT extraction accommodates rounding differences for amounts below €1, helping to prevent calculation discrepancies.

  • When importing business accounts, the automatic numbering follows the proper numeric sequence even if the codes include letters after the prefix.

  • The VAT Recap Statement text export has been refined to meet the government website’s upload requirements.
