Calculating costs in your scheduler

Indigo Attendance calculates the values of allocated shifts to inform you of labour costs in your schedule.

After enabling costings in Indigo settings, you can calculate the values of allocated shifts in your scheduler.

Calculating shift values:

  1. From Indigo, go to Attendance > Main > Scheduler.

  2. Click on Calculate cost in the far-right end of the toolbar.

  3. When Indigo finishes calculating costs, the Cost column in the grid updates to show the results.

Calculating costs only applies to the week currently in view in the scheduler. Go to other weeks in your scheduler and click Calculate cost to get the values for those shifts and rosters.

After initially calculating the costs for a particular week, any cost adjustments will be automatically done when you make modifications to that week. Each week needs to be calculated individually before auto-calculations can be done.

Allow the system time to calculate costs. Do not exit from the scheduler before cost calculations finishes.
