Indigo can send out an email in advance of an employee's permit expiry date to help your company keep on top of reapplying for work permits for TCN employees.

  1. Go to Payroll > Settings > Payroll Settings > Employee Settings.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Select 'Enable Work Permit Email' and enter the email addresses of the people who need to be notified, such as HR staff and managers. If the email address field is left empty, you will not be able to press Save.

  4. If you want to notify the employee whose work permit is about to expire, tick the option 'Send work permit email to mentioned employees'.

  5. Fill in the field for 'Number of days to be notified before the work permit is expired'. In the example below, the notification email will be sent out 30 days before the work permit's expiry date.

  6. Click Save.

There are two versions of the notification email: one is for HR or managers that contains a list of employees whose work permit will be expiring, including the date that each permit will expire; the other is for the employee whose permit is expiring, containing only that employee's permit expiry information.
