Wallpaper and screensaver customisation is currently only available on ZKTeco SpeedFace clocking devices. Additional device support is planned for future releases.

Adding a logo to the device wallpaper

Device Manager gives users the ability to update their devices' wallpaper with their company logo.

The logo will be displayed above the phrase β€œPowered by shireburn” while your device is in use by employees.

The logo image must have the following specifications:

Format

Size

Aspect Ratio

PNG

190px x 190px

1:1

Furthermore, the image:

  • can be scaled or resized to fit the dimensions of the device's display screen.

  • ideally has a transparent background so that it blends well into the wallpaper.

There are two steps required to update your device wallpaper.

  1. You must first set the logo on the wallpaper in Device Manager and send it to the clocking device.

  2. The updated wallpaper needs to then be manually set up from the device itself.

Sending your logo to your device

  1. Log in to Indigo and go to Attendance > Main > Device manager.

  2. In My Devices, click the desired device, then click Functions (found in the top-right corner of the Additional Info section)

  3. From the drop-down menu, choose Update Device Wallpaper.

  4. At the bottom of the new modal, click Choose File and select your desired logo.

  5. Click the indigo Update Device Wallpaper button when done.

Great job, you're halfway there!

Manually setting up your wallpaper from your device

  1. Log onto the device menu.

  2. Navigate to Personalize.

  3. Select User Interface.

  4. Select Wallpaper.

  5. A number of wallpapers will be displayed to choose from. The latest wallpaper you sent will be the last one on the list. Select it.

  6. Select Set.

  7. Log out of the menu. Note: if the wallpaper does not change, a restart of the device may be required.

Adding a logo to the device screensaver

Device manager also gives users the option to upload images of their logo and other promotional material to feature on the device screensaver, which appears when the device has been inactive for a set amount of time.

The user can upload up to five images.

Once receiving the images, the device will rotate through each one immediately, without requiring further input from the user.

The image(s) must have the following specifications:

Format

Size

Aspect Ratio

PNG

350px x 350px

1:1

Images should not have transparent backgrounds, as the screensavers may overlap.

Updating device screensavers

  1. Log in to Indigo and go to Attendance > Main > Device manager.

  2. In My Devices, click the desired device, then click Functions (found in the top-right corner of the Additional Info section)

  3. From the drop-down menu, choose Update Device Screensavers.

  4. In the resulting modal, you have several Choose File buttons, each corresponding with one of your device's five slots reserved for logos or similar images. Click on the one you wish to edit, and pick your desired file.

  5. When you have added all of your desired images, click the indigo Update Device Screensavers button.
