Deactivating Indigo Attendance Licenses

Learn how to deactivate individual or bulk Attendance licenses

There are 2 methods you can use to remove or deactivate Attendance licenses. The appropriate method to use depends on how many licenses you need to remove at a time.

Method 1: Deactivating an employee's Attendance License

  1. Go to HR > Main > Employees.

  2. Select the employee whose Attendance license you wish to deactivate.

  3. Double-click on the employee's entry or click on Form View, then click Edit.

  4. Scroll down to the 'Attendance Details' section.

  5. Untick the checkbox for 'Attendance Employee' and click Save.

Method 2: Deactivating a Batch of Attendance Licenses

  1. Go to HR > Main > Employees.

  2. Click Export in the toolbar.

  3. In the Export modal, leave the Export Type as 'Microsoft Excel', enter the code IsTandAEmployee and make sure the checkbox is ticked, then press Export.

  4. This will download an Excel spreadsheet. Open the spreadsheet and scroll to the final column, 'IsTandAEmployee'.

  5. If there are any employees you do not want to deactivate Attendance for, delete their row from the spreadsheet.

  6. For all remaining employees, change their entry under 'IsTandAEmployee' from True to False.

  7. Import the spreadsheet back into Indigo using the Import button.
