We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year. We kicked off 2024 by clearing the snowfall from the Indigo Login Page.
The first update of the year is short and sweet.
In HR, a new button has been added to the toolbar in the Employees screen that takes the user to the selected employee's Skills and Certifications display. Menu navigation and permission controls have also been enhanced across the Onboarding and Offboarding feature.

HR Enhancements
We have extended Indigo's built-in scheduler for email notifications, thanks to the transfer of the new email reminders (Birthdays, Work Permits, Tasks and Training).
The feature will allow you to create and manage more email reminders and alerts as new functionalities are introduced to Indigo.
A new button, Skills & Training, has been added to the toolbar in the Employees screen that takes the user to the selected employee's Skills and Certifications display.
In Skills & Training, when creating a new Certification or Training entry, it is now possible to select 'N/A' from the 'Level' dropdown for those qualifications that have no level.
HR Fixes and Improvements
In HR > Reporting, when exporting to Excel the Training & Certifications Expiring Soon and Expired Training & Certifications, time is excluded from the ExpiryDate column, as expected.
When selecting specific employees, the Skills & Training report is generating the employees' relevant data, as intended.
There is an improved validation on the character length when inputting a new skill in the Skills widget of Skills & Training.
A number of improvements have been made in Onboarding and Offboarding:
Icons, buttons and other elements related to Onboarding and Offboarding are only visible to Tenants with the feature enabled, as intended.
Exiting the Edit screen in Setup returns the user to the main Setup screen.
Also in Setup, a validation message stating 'A category already exists with the name [category name]' pops up when a user attempts to create a duplicate category to prevent accidental duplicates.
Assignees are not allowed to update the Task Name, Due Date, and Assigned To fields of their tasks in the My Tasks screen. This is available only to admin users.
Furthermore in the My Tasks screen, the expected validation message is appearing when an employee assigned to a task is not linked to a user or does not have access to the applicable employee's company.
Completing a task after uploading a document works as intended in My Tasks.
The Task Template screen displays as expected when clicking edit.
Payroll Enhancements
When you are applying for leave with a pay rate of 0.99 or less, a warning will notify you that 'The employee's hourly rate will change for the requested leave. Do you want to continue?'. You will then have the option to click Yes or No. This popup can appear in both the Applying for Leave widget as well as the Leave Request Audit.
The AgriBank SEPA file has been renamed to Lidion Bank.
Payroll Fixes and Improvements
The Address field is showing up as intended in the JobsPlus Employment Form.
