[09/04/24] - Psst! We have released a hotfix related to this update... read all about it!

Hello Indigo Users,

Custom Task Types are here! ๐Ÿคฉ

Following the recent re-branding from Onboarding & Offboarding to Task Management, we're excited to introduce the next step: customising your own task types. This update empowers you to tailor your task management experience according to your unique needs.

But wait, there's more! Now, in the Attendance Reconciliation report, you have the option to include Off Days, choosing to display the shifts of users who didn't clock in due to their scheduled off days.

In Payroll & Leave, we've further optimised settings for Payslips and Employers. Additionally, users interested in government bonuses will find the information polished and more informative.

Check out all of the details below! โฌ‡๏ธ

Platform

  • The Save State button, available across all dashboards, is working as intended.

Attendance Enhancements

  • In the Attendance Reconciliation report, an option to include Off Days ๐Ÿ๏ธ has been added.

    • When selected, the report will display the shifts of users who did not clock because they were scheduled to have an off day.

HR Enhancements

  • In the Birthdays & Anniversaries ๐ŸŽ‚ report, we've added another option.

    • By default, terminated employees are not included in the report. However, the new Include terminated employees button in Options gives you the ability to include them. This option also affects which employees will receive the related notification.

Task Management

  • Our broadened approach to task management is now fully implemented ๐Ÿค thanks to a new support file we have added called Task Types.

    • In the dedicated section, users will find both the Onboarding and Offboarding folders, which can't be deleted.

    • The file also gives users the ability to create custom task types. These tasks can have due dates linked to various other significant dates, such as Employment, Termination, and End of Probation.

      • New task types can also be tied to the setting None. In such cases, during task import, the system will prompt users to either set the target date of the task to an existing relevant target date or select a new one.

  • In the Setup section, you can activate or deactivate a category by editing it (blue pencil button) and interacting with the new toggle setting called 'Active'.

    • Deactivated categories will not appear in the Task Category dropdown menu when creating a new template.

    • By default, existing categories will be set to active.

HR Fixes and Improvements

Task Management

  • When displaying the Status Last Changed By column in the All Tasks screen, a rogue apostrophe ( ' ) was appearing at the start of each field. We have promptly alerted the punctuation police ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ and apprehended the trespasser.

  • Here's a number of other improvements:

    • In Templates, when the user starts creating a new task template from the "You have no task templates yet" screen, the default task type will be the one the user tried to filter the templates by. Filtering the modal by Task Type is also working as intended.

    • In task Importing, we have solved an erroneous error concerning nullable objects and values.

Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements

  • In Payslip Settings, setting the Payslip leave balance type to Period is working as intended. As a result, the generated payslip will display the correct leave balances.

  • In Employer Settings, users are not able to edit the fields before first clicking Edit โœ๏ธ in the toolbar. This is standard procedure across our product.

  • In Payroll Calculations, weโ€™ve polished the text in the window giving more information on Bonuses. Now, it displays the correct start date of the bonus.
