Hello Indigo users,

The Attendance Reconciliation report in Attendance has undergone some enhancements. Now, you have additional visibility options for off days, along with a more refined display for leave entries.

You'll now receive an email in HR, listing employees whose probation is ending soon or on the same day. After their probation ends, you won't be notified again.

In Performance Management, new settings have been introduced to help you better customise your managers' access to appraisals. Meanwhile, the Personal section has been streamlined to display only ongoing and pending reviews, reducing clutter.

Make sure to keep both eyes on our release notes for updates on the Notification Center, as we've just launched an exciting preview screen for it.

More information below! ⬇️

Platform

  • We have added a preview screen for our upcoming feature, the Notification Centre. This will be your go-to hub for all notifications from our various products.

  • Accessed via the Notifications Bell, the feature is designed with efficiency and ease in mind.

  • Upcoming releases will have the Notification Centre prioritise the most urgent notifications, ensuring they're front and center, ready for your decisive action. It will also automatically and meticulously organise them by product.

Be the first to know when enhancements spice up this new feature by...

Attendance Enhancements

  • The Attendance Reconciliation report has the following additions:

    • A new option labelled 'Show Off Days' has been added, which includes any scheduled Off days in the report when selected.

    • Leave entries are now shown in the report using their Leave Type, for example, Vacation Leave 2024. Please note that if leave by priority applies, the Leave Type will be labelled as Leave by Priority.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • Grouping by Cost Centre is working properly again in the Summary version of the Attendance Reconciliation report.

Device Manager

  • User filters applied via Indigo Administration remain applicable when searching in Device Manager.

HR Enhancements

  • The email about upcoming probation period expiries lists employees whose probation is ending in the specified number of days or on the same day. You will not be notified about these employees' probation periods again after their probation end date.

HR Fixes and Improvements

  • In Document Manager, the sort function works as expected on the Employee Name & Surname column in the grid.

  • Creating a new employee using the Copy-Paste tool is working as intended in Employees.

Skills & Training

  • Any changes are saved properly when choosing Save in the confirmation pop-up after clicking 'Close' in a new training or certification form.

Task Management

  • Any applied grid filters are now cleared when changing the column selection, in any Task Management screen.

  • The Save and Cancel buttons in the Create Template screen are visible as expected on smaller laptop screens.

  • When accessing My Tasks via the portal widget, the grid is filtered according to which option was clicked (Pending or Overdue).

Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements

  • Within the Employee portal, sorting leave requests by leave date and employee code no longer hides data in the Date to column.

  • Sorting options in Payroll Calculation screens are working as intended.

  • Adding Leave Entitlements no longer spawns a never-ending 'Loading...' prompt.

  • In the Leave Request Audit, employee names with special characters were not showing up in the Applicant drop down menu. We took away their invisibility cloaks 🧙‍♂️ and now they do!

Performance Management Enhancements

  • We have added a new setting in HR > Settings > Performance Management which can be ticked to allow managers to view all reviews below them, according to their position in the Organisation Chart. Note: this setting respects confidentiality; managers will only be able to view other managers’ reviews and will not have access to confidential employee questions.

  • Users will note that the Personal section has been decluttered and set to only show ongoing and pending reviews. At the same time, new switch filters have been added to bring back reviews hidden by this update.

Performance Management Fixes and Improvements

  • A scrolling bar has been added to the drop down menu within the Start Review modal, to account for more options.

  • The system has been updated to validate required short and long type questions. If an answer is left empty for a required question, the system will now reject it.

  • Review Notes are no longer removed upon completion of the review.

  • Date format for appraisals has been adjusted to dd/mm/yyyyy.

  • The Respondent Status column now updates according to actions taken.

  • The UI has been optimised to account for lengthy Follow up Notes.

  • Employee details displayed below their names have been updated:

    • Company Name has shifted to Reporting To;

    • Termination Date is now able to display N/A as required.
