Analytics in Performance Management
We're excited to announce that Performance Management is officially out of beta!
With the launch of the Nine Box Grid feature, the Analytics section is open, and we're happy to finally introduce you to the product's full capabilities.
Analysing your appraisals and acting on fresh insights may seem daunting, but it need not be. If you conduct timely, efficient, and goal-oriented Performance Reviews, you are already halfway there!

Attendance Enhancements
In the Allocations Reconciliation report, a column for remarks has been added to the Excel report - you can find it under 'AllocationRemark' between the Transferred and ApprovalState columns.
Device Manager
The Device Manager Audit report has been improved as follows:
A Date From/To has been added to the report header.
A filter for document type and action type has been added.
The maximum number of records shown on the landing page has been reduced to improve performance when there is a large amount of records.
Attendance Fixes and Improvements
Leave shifts that include a Break are allocated as expected when recalculating allocations.
Leave Type by Priority in the Attendance Reconciliation report has been fine-tuned to show more accurately.
Only approved Allocations are included in the Attendance Reconciliation report's balance.
Device Manager
When using the Import Employees function, Indigo will alert you that 'No employees have been selected to be imported' if you try to proceed without first selecting employees.
The validation messages when adding new devices have been fine-tuned.
The Export to Excel button will now be greyed out when all activities have been deleted from a Device.
Error messages have been made more user-friendly in the Device Activity grid, and will be shown for new error messages. Old error messages will retain the same wording as when they were reported.
Scheduler
We have added a new setting to Settings > Attendance > Costings, under Costings Calculation Settings, called 'Exclude maternity leave from basic hours'. This setting excludes maternity leave from the calculation of basic hours in the Scheduler, and is unselected by default.
When 'Show Attendance' is enabled in the Scheduler and automation settings are not selected, shifts will only be recalculated if they were previously calculated.
HR Enhancements
Skills & Training
We have added an import function to the Setup section of Skills & Training, enabling users to move existing support files from elsewhere into Indigo with a click of the Import button.
Task Management
We have added a new setting in Task Types that allows you to mark a type Active or Inactive. Task templates marked as inactive cannot be used to create and assign new tasks.
With the introduction of the setting mentioned above, the grids in Templates, Task Types and Setup will automatically show only Active tasks by default. To see Inactive tasks too, switch on the new 'Show inactive' option from the toolbar in each screen.
A download link shortcut has been added to any Task containing attachments, which becomes visible as a white downward arrow on a blue background when hovering over the attachment icon.
HR Fixes and Improvements
In Document Manager, the grid column 'Hire Date' has been renamed to 'Employment Date' to match the rest of Indigo, and shows sorting order as expected.
Skills & Training
Deleting skills in an employee's Skills widget is working as intended.
Task Management
The navigation arrow shows normally for employees in search results and for employees with a termination date.
Several issues related to the Due Date and Tied To Date fields in Tasks of Custom type have been solved.
Payroll & Leave Enhancements
You can now include public holidays that fall on weekends when calculating pro-rata leave entitlement for public holiday leave, thanks to the two new checkboxes for 'Include Saturday' and 'Include Sunday' in the Pro Rata Leave Entitlement utility.
Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements
The Breaks report is working as intended.
We have made more improvements to the Finductive SEPA file.
Employment Duration is showing as expected when a Termination Date is entered.
Warning messages when generating FS7s have been reviewed and any that were no longer relevant or necessary have been removed.
Performance Management Enhancements
In Reviews:
Managers can now see a tab for My Team that will show their team's reviews in the grid.
Under Notes, there are now two new tabs: Manager and Secret.
Manager Notes: visible and editable only to managers and HR admins.
Secret Notes: visible and editable only to HR admins.
When disabling a filter in the grid, all filters are switched off.
A Back button has been added to the editing screen.
In My Reviews:
You can now filter reviews by date.
The Manager field has been improved to show longer names without spilling out of the box.
Performance Management Fixes and Improvements
When editing a Review, the Save Changes button is working as expected.
