Hello Indigo users,

Let's get down to brass tacks with a pretty handy enhancement to Device Manager: a new setting that allows you to schedule ⌚ an automatic, timed reboot of your clocking devices. This ensures that your hardware is prepared and refreshed for the day before the first punch-in.

Several enhancements have also made it to Payroll & Leave, such as the new Block Leave Day feature which allows for the complete blocking of restricted dates from vacation leave requests, and the introduction of a new SEPA file for CENTTRIP.

You know where to find the full details! 😁⬇️

Attendance Enhancements

Device Manager

  • Even the best of us need a good nap after a long day of hard work, so why should our trusty hardware be any different? 🤖 With this in mind, we’ve added an automatic reboot option for your devices, allowing you to schedule a refreshing restart for your clocking devices.

    • You can find this option in Device Manager > My Devices > Edit Device (click the ✏️ button on the desired device's card).

    • This feature lets you specify when the device should reboot. Once the set number—greater than 0—of days passes, the device will reboot at midnight.

    • If the number is not set or is 0, the option will be inactive, and the device will not automatically reboot.

  • Tooltips have been introduced to the user icons within My Users. Now, when hovered over, they will display informative details about their functions.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • Sorting by employee full name and code is working as expected within the Clocking Details report. So is filtering by specific users within the Breaks report.

  • Off days within the Attendance Reconciliation report are being displayed normally, regardless of which user is logged in.

Device Manager

  • The process for deleting device users has been improved in a few ways.

    • Clicking the "trash can" to delete a device user will now open a confirmation modal instead of instantly deleting the user(s).

    • The modal informs you that deleting will permanently remove the users, including their biometrics, and cannot be undone. If you're sure, press Delete to permanently remove the selected user(s).

    • Additionally, the error message has been updated to properly display any errors, rather than incorrectly indicating success.

HR Fixes and Improvements

Task Management

  • The Update Task button now activates correctly when updating the Due Date and Notes Settings.

Payroll & Leave Enhancements

  • The Leave History report now includes the employee's address and contact numbers when exported to Excel.

  • We have added a SEPA file for CENTTRIP Bank.

  • It is now possible to fully block restricted dates from vacation leave requests, thanks to the new option 'Block Leave Day' in Restricted Days.

  • We have added Relative Overlaps filtering to the Approve Leave modal to help approvers narrow down the search by Occupation, Department, and/or Cost Centre when viewing overlapping leave requests from different employees.

Performance Management Fixes and Improvements

  • All closed and cancelled reviews have finally got the memo 📝 and will now display themselves under the Past Reviews section, where they belong!

  • We have also improved the virtual carriageways 🚗 that connect the different sections of Performance Management: the Go to Review button will take you to the appropriate review when clicked.
