Introduction

Indigo allows submitted leave requests to be cancelled whether they are pending approval or have already been approved.

  • Leave requests that haven't been approved yet can be cancelled immediately.

  • Approved leave requests require a cancellation approval by your leave authoriser(s).

You can cancel leave requests for yourself or on behalf of your subordinates. Read on to learn how to do both.

Cancelling own Leave Requests

  1. Go to the Employee Portal.

  2. In the Out of Office widget, select View.

  3. The View Leave Request screen will open.

  4. Search for specific entries using the fields at the top right of the window.

    • Date fields: enter a date range to narrow down the view to your needs.

    • State: you can choose Pending or Approved to filter the view as required.

  5. Locate the leave requests you would like to cancel, and select the Click to Cancel button next to each record.

  6. When selected, rows can be deselected using the Undo Cancel button.

  7. When ready, click on Cancel Leave at the bottom-right of the screen.

  8. If leave cancellation requires approval, ensure that the relevant approvers (refer to the Organisation Chart) proceed accordingly.

  9. Once done, the leave will disappear from the Out of the office widget.

Cancelling Subordinate's Leave Requests

You can cancel a subordinate's leave still from the Out of the office widget.

  1. Click on the πŸ”½ arrow on the View button, and select On behalf of.

  2. Search the name or employee code of your subordinate in the search bar at the top left of the window.

  3. Select the Click to Cancel button, and proceed as you would do with your own requests.
