Hi there,

It's time for a hefty update!

This week, Hiring takes centre stage with additions and improvements across the product, but especially in the Job Creation, single Job Post, single Application, and Careers pages.

We have several changes pulling double duty as operational and visual boosts in Document Manager and Task Management. There's a SEPA file for VIRBANK in Payroll & Leave, and in Attendance you'll find a new device supported in Device Manager, and a setting in Schedule Publishing that informs employees which of their teammates will be on shift with them. Meanwhile, Benchmarks' Market Data has an added search function in the Occupation dropdown, and further fine-tuning has been carried out in Performance Management.

Dig in below! πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Attendance Enhancements

  • In the Target Attendance Allocation modal, we have added two fields to the Attendance Summary, one for Public Holidays Clocked and one for Sunday Clocked.

  • There is a new permission, TA_PresenceClocking, for the Presence feature that hides the data in the Clock In, Clock Out and Lateness columns.

Device Manager

  • A new device, Horus H1, has been configured in Device Manager.

Scheduler

  • Do you want your employees to know which of their colleagues is on shift with them beforehand? We've got you covered! A new setting has been added to Scheduler Publishing's email notifications, 'Publish Same Shift-Based Cost Centre Schedule'.

When enabled, the Schedule emails sent to employees will contain a 'My Colleagues' section, showing when colleagues with the same Cost Centre are on shift with them.

Benchmarks Fixes and Improvements

  • You can now look for occupations using the new Search function in the Occupation Group / Occupation / Rank dropdown. The dropdown has been sorted into hierarchical categories, with each main category having a collapsible section of occupations which in turn have their own collapsible ranked roles.

Hiring Enhancements

  • You can now generate job descriptions with AI when creating a Job Post, thanks to the new Generate with AI button to the top right of the Job Description box.

The button will be available after the preceding fields have been filled in.

  • In the single Job Post page:

    • You'll see there is a new and improved layout!

    • Thanks to the new Job Performance box, you'll easily see a job post's performance stats for unique views, started but unsubmitted applications (Apply starters), and received applications.

  • When viewing a single application:

    • All action buttons have been gathered together neatly and moved to the right end of the main details section.

    • We have added the … More actions button to the individual application page. This button opens to list the following actions: Edit Application, Send email to the applicant, Copy Application to another job, Flag this candidate.

    • We have two new items concerning applicants who submit more than one applications:

      • An icon and note will now show when a candidate has sent more than one application to the company.

      • You can now add a single note to these applications, using the new 'Flag this Candidate' option in the More Actions menu. When a note already exists, you'll be able to edit it.

  • We have refined the email template notifying you about new applications on specific job posts.

HR Enhancements

Document Manager

  • The Personal and All Documents sections have had a facelift, making them not only easier on the eyes but also much more intuitive to navigate to the folders and files that you need.

  • On top of that, you can now share files in three ways:

    • With only the employee

    • With both the line manager and the employee.

    • In Task Types and Setup, when editing Task Type or Category, this will open in a modal superimposed over the grid.

    • The Add New button in all grids in no longer a + in a blue circle hovering over the bottom right of the grid. Instead, it's now a separate button labelled '+ Add New' just beneath the right corner of the grid.
