Hello everyone!
β
It's that exciting time again! π
β
This time, Device Manager is first place π₯ on the podium for the amount and value of the updates. They are mainly about reporting, biometrics, physical devices and Device Manager settings.
The silver medal π₯ goes to Performance Management after patting down its windswept hair.
For the bronze medal π₯ we have a three-way tie between Payroll & Leave (reporting and payslip improvements), HR Documents (new column, grid ordering and timestamps) and Skills & Training (new Copy function in setup).
Last but not least, the participation medal ποΈ goes to our Platform updates in terms of notifications and the SSO login button.
Satisfy your curiosity below. π
Platform
We bet that the red number showing on the notification bell π makes your eye ποΈ twitch too, especially after running many processes. Now you can just click on the bell and the number will disappear. Don't worry though, your unread notifications will still be there, ready for you to catch up on them when needed.
β
Our SSO button on the login screen has had a makeover! Once Indigo SSO is set up for your company, simply click the fresh new Microsoft button to log in seamlessly.

Attendance Enhancements
Device Manager
If you want to be informed about 'who, what, where and when', we have got your back with our new Access Control Audit Report.
When deleting any data we always want to be extra careful, especially if there is no going back. That's why we decided to accompany you π€ in the Biometrics deletion process. Here's how:
We made it more intuitive by keeping only one Delete Biometrics button. If you click on it, the list of biometric filters will show. They have two functions:
To select which biometrics you want to delete.
To filter the users assigned to the selected biometrics.
Last but not least, a message saying 'The selected biometrics of the selected users will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.' was added as a gentle reminder and as an invitation for a second check on your actions. π
βWe have integrated a new device, the Speedface V3L, with the Device Manager Module.
Mama said: no punchesπ₯! Activate our new Enable Access Control Device toggle for an existing device or when creating a new one in My Devices. Once done, your selected device will work purely as an access control and punches will not be available for attendance purposes. We spared you from a black eye, you're welcome! π
βIt is now possible to update the Device Data settings and the Punch State ID Settings separately, using the new specialised buttons Save Device Data Settings and Save Punch State IDs Settings. This is to avoid overwriting any Punch State ID settings in your devices when they don't match the ones in Device Manager.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements
Perfectly spelled buttons π help you attach Excel and PDF files when sending your Clocking Details Report.
Device Manager
The selection on the User Interface for the 'Send Users & Biometrics to Device Individually' field in the Device Manager Settings matches with the value in the database in all instances.

HR Enhancements
Document Manager
The default sorting order of the All Documents grid has been set to descending by Date Created.
The Date Created and Date Modified columns now also show the time stamp.
We have added a new column for 'Share Status' to the All Documents grid, which shows if a file has been shared or not thanks to an icon each for employee and manager. When an icon is green, the file has been shared; when it's grey, it has not been shared.
Skills & Training
In Setup, it is now possible to copy an existing support file by clicking on the green copy icon on the right end of the grid entry. This will open a drawer showing all the copied fields. The 'Awarding Body' box is left empty as the most common scenario is creating identical certifications or training entries awarded by different entities.
βWhen updating or creating a Certification or Training entry for an employee, you can now select the Completion Status from the dropdown of the same name: 'Not Set', 'Successful', 'Failure', 'Cancelled', 'Partially Completed', 'On Hold'.
β
Note: To set 'Partially Completed' or 'On Hold', you must enter a 'Completion Date'.
Payroll & Leave Enhancements
In the Leave History report, we have added a column for the Leave Request ID when exporting into Excel.
Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements
When the Payslip Leave Balance Type is saved as 'Period' in the Payslip settings, the
Leave Balance in the payslip updates as expected after paying off leave.
β
Performance Management Enhancements
When checking in a Key Result, you now have a full view with its name and set target π― to always be sure of what you are amending.
Performance Management Fixes and Improvements
Your Objectives and Key Results names deserves to be adequately described, thus we increased the character's limit for this field to 250. Feel free to express yourself!
The employee's Review Score window which can be opened from the 9-box-grid has been improved. The number in brackets showing next to the % under the 'X Score' and 'Y Score' columns matches the actual number of answered tagged questions.
The Reviews screen has straightened its tie π and shined its shoes π to be more presentable.
The validation message showing when updating a template for an existing question is spelled correctly.
The Objective Name is a mandatory field. If you leave it empty at the Objective creation, a warning message will now pop up to let you know: 'Objective name is required'.
After opening a team member's profile in a new tab, clicking on Personal is working as intended.
A success message shows after the Objective creation informing you that all went well and that you will be redirected to the main Objectives screen.
