🌟 Feature Spotlights 🌟
Payroll & Leave: Variable Leave Hour Schedules ⌚
Different roles often require different shifts, which can make leave applications more complicated. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Variable Leave Hour Schedules! Now, with Indigo, you can set leave hours by day and even apply a daily maximum limit to make the process smoother for everyone.
So say goodbye to rigid leave schedules and inaccurate entries! We've made it easy to align your company’s unique hours with its policies, and we’ve got detailed documentation to guide you every step of the way.
Two New Fields in Global Basic Pay Adjustments 🏷️
Two new fields have saddled up in the Global Basic Pay Adjustment utility! 🤠 With them, you can effortlessly assign C.O.L.A. in bulk, quickly spot who’s out of step with the latest values set by the authorities, and update wages all in one swift move. These cowboys are here to streamline your workflow!
Restricted Days: Leave Capping and More ⚽
The Restricted Days functionality got an upgrade. Now, you can select multiple Departments, Cost Centres, or Occupations when creating Restricted Days entries. Plus, you can call the shots by allowing a specific number of employees to take leave during restricted periods. Just set up a Leave Capping by count or percentage, and you’re good to go!
In other words, step into the shoes of a referee for your company’s game—with these enhancements, you’ll have your own set of yellow and red cards to keep everything in check! 🟡🔴
Platform
We’ve made it easier than ever to acquire the Indigo Mobile App 📱 by adding convenient download buttons directly on the Apply for Leave screen.
With its expanding features and enhancements, the app is making waves—so why not ride the current? Download the app, kick back on your couch, and apply for leave with comfort and ease. And... if you need guidance, you know that our documentation has you covered! 📚
Attendance Enhancements
When the drop-down is set to Devices on the Presence screen, the side panel will display the actual device name rather than the friendly name.
Scheduler
In the Scheduler’s publishing wizard, we’ve introduced a new checkbox in the review section: Publish Same Cost Centre Colleague Schedule.
When checked, employees will see their colleagues’ schedules within the same cost center in the Same Shift-Based Cost Center Schedule Email.
If left unchecked, employees won’t see their colleagues’ schedules.
By default, this checkbox is enabled when the Publish Same Shift-Based Cost Center Schedule option is selected.
Attendance Fixes and Improvements
Device Manager
Say hello 👋 to your devices by their friendly names! The Clocking Devices screen will reliably display your choice names once you input and save them.

Applications
Applications
Engage 📣 team members more effectively with the new tagging feature in chat by typing @ before a participant's name, following the same convention across various social media.
When a user is tagged in the Team Discussion of an application, they will receive an email notifying them that they were tagged, including details about the tag and a message preview.
We’ve introduced a feature to automatically log email interactions with applicants directly in the Team Discussion chat. All automated or manually sent emails to applicants are now logged as system messaged in the Team Discussion.
A new section Link Tracking has been added. If an applicant applies using a link, it will show which source link was used.
A new filter for Link Source has been added in the form of a dropdown. 🔽
Analytics
Analytics
New charts 📊 have been added to the Job Analytics tab:
Applications by Tracking Links: see the number of applicants for each link.
Application by Single Tracking Link: shows the number of applicants over time for a specific link.
We have added a new metric called 'Time to Hire (in days)' and a corresponding chart.
Hiring Preferences
Hiring Preferences
A new setting in the Hiring Pipeline allows users to manage applicant data retention on a company level. Choose from 60, 90, or 180 days, or as long as the applicant permits.
A new setting for Source Tracking Links has been added. ⚙️
Job Posts
Job Posts
A new tab called Tracking Links has been added to the Job Post page.
Create and manage links 🔗 for sharing individual job posts, and track link performance, from this tab.
We’ve also introduced advanced filtering capabilities to improve applicant search and management in the Applications tab. You can now filter for:
Current Location
Country of Residence
Application Date
Name and Email
Scorecard Rating
Source of Attraction
Tracking Link
📋 Note: You can sort the grid by the corresponding column of any of the above.
Hiring Fixes and Improvements
In Applications:
There are new, optional fields for Gender and Date of Birth in the form when creating manual applications.
You can now sort by Job Title and Name in the All Applications grid.
Meanwhile, over in Job Posts, bulk action buttons are now greyed out when no applicants are selected, and turn orange when applicants are selected. 🔶
Payroll & Leave Enhancements
A new validation check in the Send to Payroll system will now prevent a payroll from being processed if an employee’s basic pay rate is missing, minimising the risk of payroll errors.
So for example, when employees are moved to a different cost center through the scheduler and lack a basic pay rate, a Daily Attendance Payroll Preview Errors Report will notify the payroll admin.
Payroll & Leave Fixes and Improvements
There's no room for laziness aboard the Indigo train. 🚆 Payroll calculations will take on all of your amendments to your employees' payrolls, as they should—erroneous errors not included!
Performance Management Enhancements
Answering appraisal questions with nuance is a wordy business. In the Template Builder, we upped the character limit for options in multiple-choice questions from 100 to 250 characters.
The Linked Objectives tab in the Review Overview screen has the following enhancements:
You can link multiple objectives to a single open review.
You can link and unlink objectives with ease—even in bulk, using the new Link Objectives button! Just keep in mind that each objective can only be linked to one review at a time. Linking an already linked objective to a new review will automatically remove its previous connection.
Performance Management Fixes and Improvements
OCD can be a real hurdle in the corporate world, but we've got your back! A tweak to the alignment of the left section menu in Performance Management is going to keep everything neater and perfectly in line.
We also don't want to see the effort you make keeping your key result check-ins detailed go to waste. That’s why we’ve introduced a View Remark button dedicated to spotlighting your remarks. When one is present, the button will become clickable, opening a dedicated window to display your full comment—free from the constraints of grid margins.
Your lovely profile picture, along with those of your colleagues, will now appear as intended in the Objectives grid. 🖼️
