Introduction

From June 2026, HR teams must be able to provide clear, employee-ready pay comparison reports on request. ⚖️ This typically means assembling screenshots or creating ad-hoc documents manually, which is time-consuming, inconsistent, and prone to errors.

Indigo has the solution for you, in the form of the Employee Pay Report in the Job Evaluation Tool (JET)! This report is specifically designed to allow HR users to generate standardised pay comparison reports directly from JET's Employees screen.

What the Report Shows

The report provides data to help you compare a selected employee’s remuneration with averages from the relevant occupation category. The data can reflect any specified date range as set in JET’s Employees screen at the time the report is generated, provided there is Payroll data available from that range.

All values in the report are presented as annualised Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) amounts.

Data Access and Security (click to expand)

The Employee Pay Report is designed with data security and compliance in mind.

It aligns with GDPR requirements:

  • You can only generate reports for employees you already have access to.

  • No additional personal or salary data is exposed.

  • Access is controlled by role-based permissions and filters.

It also supports audit tracking showing:

  • The user who generated it

  • The date and time

  • The employee selected
