  2. Select the cogwheel icon to be redirected to your personal profile settings

  3. Select Account Security in the side menu.

Change Email

To change the email address associated with your Indigo Hiring user:

  1. Delete the existing email in the Email box.

  2. Type in the new address.

  3. Double-check the spelling, then click Save Email.

  4. Confirm that your new email address is displayed.

  5. The message 'Awaiting confirmation from [email address]' appears below the Email field.

  6. Open the confirmation email sent to that address and select Verify.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) helps protect your Indigo Hiring account by adding an extra verification step when you sign in, reducing the risk of unauthorised access to sensitive hiring or application data.

Use the Multi-Factor Authentication switch in the Account Security section to turn MFA on or off.

When you turn MFA on, the setup screen opens automatically. Choose whether to verify your identity at sign-in by Email Authentication or by Authenticator App.

By Email Authentication

This option sends a 6-digit code to your email address.

  1. When you receive the code, copy and paste or simply type it into the 6 boxes, then select Continue.

  2. The screen will change and show a list of backup codes. Save your backup codes in a secure offline location using one of the following options:

    • Select Copy all below the codes, then paste and save them.

    • Select the Download as .txt button and save the .txt file.

  3. Tick 'I have saved my codes' and select Continue to return to the Account Security page in Indigo Hiring.

⚠️ Important: You only need backup codes if you lose access to your MFA device. Each code can only be used once. Don't share your codes with anyone.

By Authenticator App

This method lets you use an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, to generate verification codes.
Make sure you have one installed before you start.

  1. Open your authenticator app.

  2. Looking back at the Hiring verification screen:

    • Either scan the provided QR code,

    • Or manually enter the setup key shown below the QR code into your authenticator app.

  3. Your authenticator app generates a 6-digit code. Press Continue on the Hiring verification screen.

  4. The Enter Authentication Code screen will load. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the code space.

  5. Finally, press Continue.

Change Password

Changing your Indigo Hiring password is as easy as counting to 4. 😉

  1. In Current password, type in your existing password.

  2. Enter your newly thought up password under New password.

  3. Input it again in Repeat password.
