Copying and pasting a shift over another shift or to another cell

  1. In your Scheduler, click on the coloured area of the shift.

  2. Click on the three-dot menu, then click Copy Shift.

  3. Click on another shift or an empty cell, and click its three-dot menu.

  4. Click Paste Shift.

All the data associated with the copied shift will be retained when the shift is pasted elsewhere.

You can also use keyboard shortcuts. Use Ctrl + C to copy the shift, and Ctrl + V to paste the shift.


Cutting and pasting a shift over another shift or to another cell

  1. In your Scheduler, click on the coloured area of the shift.

  2. Click on the three-dot menu, then click Cut Shift.

  3. Click on another shift or an empty cell, and click its three-dot menu.

  4. Click Paste Shift.

All the data associated with the cut shift will be retained when the shift is pasted elsewhere.

You can also use keyboard shortcuts. Use Ctrl + X to cut the shift, and Ctrl + V to paste the shift.


Replacing a shift with another shift

  1. In your scheduler, click on the coloured area of the shift.

  2. Click on the three-dot menu, then click Replace Shift.

  3. Type the name or code of the new shift.

  4. Click on the shift to confirm the replacement.

You can also use a keyboard shortcut. Use Ctrl + R to replace a shift.

These actions can be done to shifts within shift patterns. These actions will not alter future repetitions of the same shift pattern.
