How to assign rewards or penalties to employee groups or shift presets

Learn how to set rewards or penalties to certain occupations, cost centres, or organisations; employee groups; or shift presets

Assign a reward or penalty to an employee group or shift preset

  1. In Rewards or Penalties, click Assign next to Assign to employee groups or Assign to shift presets

  2. In the Shift accessibility pop-up window, click the boxes next to the occupations, cost centres, and organisations you want to assign the reward or penalty to. 

  3. When finished, click the x in the top-right corner of the pop-up window. 

  4. Click Save to confirm the assignments.

You can assign rewards and penalties to multiple groups or shifts by clicking on each tab at the top of the pop-up window.

To assign salaried, hourly or sub-contracted employees to the reward or penalty, click the Selection dropdown menu in the toolbar of the Shift accessibility pop-up window.


How to edit or remove groups or shift presets from rewards or penalties

To have groups or shift presets unassigned from rewards or penalties:

  1. In the Reward Presets page or the Penalties Presets page, click Assign next to Assign to employee groups or Assign to shift presets sections.

  2. In the Shift accessibility pop-up window, click the marked boxes next to the groups or shift presets you want to remove.

  3. When finished, click the x in the top-right corner of the pop-up window. 

  4. Click Save to confirm the changes.

You can see the assigned groups or shifts by clicking the Selected dropdown menus.
