Overview
We understand how hard you work to keep your payrolls accurate π― and tidy. However, we're all human and fallible, so it might happen that you miss a record or two π€·. Don't worry! Indigo is flexible enough to allow you to make amendments and include even records (overtime, basic hours, and pay items) dated outside the posting period. The Disable Dates Validation For Basic Hours, Overtime and Pay Items setting is there for you to achieve this.

Examples
Let's say you forgot to pay Overtime worked three months ago (before the Post from date). It could also happen that some employees worked Overtime between the payroll's Post to date and the Pay Date.
β
Once the mentioned setting is ticked, you'll be able to manually insert those overtime records in the current unfinalised payroll page.
β
The system won't prompt you with any errors referring to records not falling within the posting dates range.
You can get the same result with Basic Hours and Pay Items as well.

π§ Pro Tip
β
This setting also affects imported records in the Overtime, Basic Hours, and Pay Items tabs within the Payrolls section.
