Hello readers,

The Indigo team has prepared a small update this week while working on some big projects (more on those in the next few weeks).

This week we introduced a new option in the Payslip Settings that displays beneficiary information in the payslip, which is particularly useful for those employees with split payments. There is also a new Leave Setting allowing users to auto-approve Working Remotely leave, and a new alert when allocating leave in the Allocations screen.

Read on for more, or jump down to your preferred section!

Platform

  • When a user from one company with a leave authoriser on another company applies for leave from the Portal's Out of the Office widget, the application goes through and the authoriser receives the email notification as intended.

Payroll Enhancements

  • We have added a new option to show beneficiary information in the payslip, via a new setting in the Payslip Settings.

The information displayed will include the beneficiary's name, surname, bank and IBAN.

  • It is now possible to auto-approve Leave Group: Working Remotely applications made by employees from the portal. Enable the setting for Auto approve employee portal 'Working Remotely' leave applications, as highlighted below from Payroll > Settings > Payroll > Leave.

Payroll Fixes and Improvements

  • Sickness benefit is deleted as expected after leave entries are deleted from the Payroll and the Payslip is fully deleted.

Attendance Enhancements

  • When allocating leave in the Allocations screen, the system will alert the user if the employee does not have enough leave for the allocation, or if they do not have that particular leave type allocated.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • The Attendance Reconciliation report excludes any public holiday entries dated after an employee's termination date, and obtains the employee's public holiday hours via their Work Schedule Profile.
