Hello readers!

Our latest release has visible goodies in both the Payroll and Attendance modules, as well as behind-the-scenes updates to the HR features of Document Manager, Insights, and several upcoming features that are still under wraps.

Let's talk about Payroll! We have added some data to the Headcount report and fine-tuned the Leave Request Audit and Audit Log; meanwhile, we have continued our focus on increasing user-friendliness in Leave Entitlement.

Moving on to Attendance, there are several enhancements in quite a few places guaranteed to give the user more power: you can now export data to Excel any time from a handful of screens without having to run a report first; the Scheduler can now be opened instantly when viewing a Daily Attendance Allocation, without having to navigate away from the screen.

Keep on reading to learn more about these changes, and more!

Payroll Enhancements

  • We have added a column for 'Employee Nationality' to the Headcount report when exporting to Excel.

  • When searching for an employee manually via the employee code in the Leave Request Audit's 'Applicant' field, active employees are shown at the top of the dropdown list while inactive employees are shown at the bottom.

  • Recurring Pay Items, including Periodic Payments, are visible in the Audit Log.

Payroll Fixes and Improvement

  • In Leave Entitlement, we have renamed two columns as follows:

    • Balance after approved (hrs) is now Balance (excl. Pending).

    • Balance including pending leave is now Balance (incl. Pending).

Attendance Enhancements

  • It is now possible to export data to Excel from the following screens:

    • Daily Attendance Exceptions: go to Daily Attendance Exceptions > File > Export Daily Attendance.

    • Target Attendance Exceptions: go to Target Attendance Exceptions > File > Export Target Attendance.

    • Clocking Data: Go to Clocking Data > File > Export Clocking Data.

    • Projects: Go to Projects > File > Export Projects.

    • Shift Presets: Go to Shifts Presets, click the 'Export All Shifts' button on the top right.

  • In the Scheduler, when typing in an individual shift's cell, all exiting shift names are now shown in the dropdown.

  • We have added a new tab for 'Additional Info' to the Scheduler's Shift Details modal that shows the following information:

    • Created By: the email address of the user who created the entry.

    • Created On: the date and time the entry was created.

    • Modified By: the email address of the user who edited the entry.

    • Modified On: the date and time the entry was edited.

  • It is now possible to open the Scheduler directly from within the Daily Attendance Allocation screen, thanks to the new 'Open Scheduler' button visible in the Clocking tab's shift summary.
