Happy New Year, readers πŸŽ‰

Here at Indigo we have been busy tweaking and tuning things to make your Payroll and Attendance experience even smoother. This week's focus has been on amending an individual Payroll, Leave Approval via the Portal, batch processing of Attendance Exceptions, and improvements to the Clocking widget.

Moreover, the Document Manager feature is now live for all clients!

Keep reading for more detail.

Payroll Enhancements

  • It is now possible to manually deduct more than 50% tax from an employee's Payroll. However, Indigo will warn the user when this is done.

  • When approving leave via the Portal, approvers are notified when an employee applies for a restricted day.

Payroll Fixes and Improvements

  • We have improved the Split Payments function when the total is an odd number.

  • We have improved the validation for the 'Year' field when creating a new Payroll.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • The buttons in the Change Project modal of the Clocking widget have been renamed for greater clarity:

    • 'Select Project Only' is now 'Modify Current Project'

    • 'Create New Punch' is now 'Start New Project'

  • The naming of Projects in the Clocking widget has been improved.

  • From now on, when clicking the 'Modify Current Project' button in the Clocking widget Change Project modal, the project is changed without the user having to clock out after.

  • In the Scheduler, costing calculations do not include any bonus or leave for employees who are not entitled to them.
