Overview

Recruitment is usually a team effort, and it’s crucial to get it right to avoid costly mistakes. To help with this, Hiring provides clear and concise communication systems for you and your team to track progress and update each other efficiently. πŸ“ž

Team Discussion

The Team Discussion feature serves as both an audit log and an instant messaging platform for you and your team, helping you track an application's progress and changes over time.

Access it from the Team Discussion tab in the centre-right section of a specific application's screen.

The audit log updates automatically as changes occur.

To chat internally, provide context for a change, or reply to a colleague's message, click the Join Conversation button at the bottom of the tab. After a brief wait, type in your message, and click the Send arrow to the right of the text box.


Secret Notes

Since the Team Discussion log continuously updating with new notifications and messages, it can be easy to lose track of important notes. ☁️

Secret Notes are designed to solve this problem. Access them from the Secret Notes tab in the centre-right section of a specific application's screen. To add a note, click Add Note.

A new window will prompt you to type your note into a blank field. Click Add Note once again to submit it. If you want the note to be visible only to you, check the Only for me box.


Applicant Chat

Indigo Hiring's instant messaging system simplifies communication πŸ“© with potential employees by streamlining tasks such as scheduling meetings and requesting additional information. Ultimately, Hiring allows you to build relationships and communicate effortlessly with applicants even before considering sending them a contract! πŸ“œ

One way to access your Hiring inbox is by clicking Chats in the top right corner of the screen, and selecting the desired chat from the list on the left.

Another way to access a chat specific to an application is by clicking on the application from the All Applications grid. In the centre-right section of the screen, click Chat with Applicant.

On either screen, click Join Conversation to start communicating with your team and the potential new hire. Type in your message, hit that Send button and let the communication begin! 😁
