Overview
Once a User has been created and assigned with the proper permissions, you can link them to an Employee.
This will allow them to perform various actions within the Indigo platform according to the rights previously granted. The most common and basic access is to the Employee Portal. Here they will be able to request and approve leave while consulting the current leave balance, access corporate documents and much more, all in accordance with the company policies. Linking an Employee to an Existing User
Once the User is created, go to HR > Main > Employees.
βSelect the Employee, and click on Link User to Employee.

You can achieve the same result, from the Employee Profile itself. Just double click on the employee record in the Employees grid. The same icon will show in the Employee Profile toolbar π.
βYou will then be prompted with the Link User To Employee modal. For this procedure we will be referring to the Existing User section π.
Now, you can start typing the User name in the Linked Username field, or you can use the π Search icon to look for an existing User.

If an email is entered in the User name fieldβ in the New User sectionβ the Linked Username field in the Existing User section will be greyed out.
βTo unlock the Linked Username field, delete the email address from the User name field.When clicking on the π magnifying glass, a list of created users is displayed. Select the User you need and click Ok.
βYou may now notice that you cannot amend the User name, Password and Email fields anymore. This is because these details already exist within the selected User account.
βClick on Link to finish this process.

Unlinking User Accounts
To unlink an employee from an existing user account, select the employee from the Employees grid or navigate to the Employee Profile, and click on the Link User to Employee icon in the toolbar.
In the Link User to Employee window click the Unlink button as shown above and then close the window.
