Introduction
The Employee Portal is a dashboard that allows you to independently access your employment-related functions, activities and documents.
To access the Employee Portal:
Navigate to Dashboards from the left side menu.
Then select Employee Portal from the Main screen on the right.
βWhen the Portal loads, you will see a set of interactive cards displayed: these are the widgets.

Widgets
If you hover over a widget, buttons will show on its top right corner. Those are the widget settings, which may differ depending on the permission level of the user.

Wrench: This button lets you adjust the widget's view on a global level according to the company needs. β οΈ Note: This needs to be activated by Shireburn Support upon request.
Refresh: This refreshes the information showing in that specific widget.
Four Arrows: This collapses the view of the widget, leaving just its title.
Box: This expands the widget view to a full screen to see more details.
Cross: The classic 'close' button, which when clicked will globally remove the widget from the dashboard. β οΈ Note: This needs to be activated by Shireburn Support upon request.
π Note: Most of the settings can only be accessed by the administrator.
When hovering over the widget name, you can click, drag and drop the widget to re-order the Employee Portal as you please as shown in the image below.
π€ Good to know: The Employee Portal view might change according to the permissions assigned to the user. It's your company decision to decide what to show or give access to its employees.

The Corporate Documents widget lets you Upload, View and Manage documents available for all employees in the company. Detailed information about this widget can be found here.
Document Manager Upload
Document Manager Upload
Document Manager Upload allows you to only upload documents from your pc, laptop, mobile (through browser, not from the Ingido Mobile App though) or tablet directly to Document Manager, without having to access the Document Manager itself.

The My Attachments widget redirects you to the Personal section of the Document Manager.
My Payslips
My Payslips
The My Payslips widget works as a container for your issued payslips. Only payslips issued since the introduction of Shireburn Indigo Payroll are available here. Just click on one of the displayed payslips to consult it as it pops up.

Leave Widgets
My Leave Year Planner
My Leave Year Planner
The My Leave Year Planner widget is a calendar which displays your booked leave days in different colours depending on the leave type along with the public holidays.
Feel free to experiment with the date range field to see how the calendar view changes accordingly. You can also apply for leave using this widget. To learn how, you can click here.

The Leave Balances widget provides a comprehensive overview of your own leave balances per leave type. For more details about this widget, click here.

The Leave widget is set to show a pure count of the people from your company team that are on leave today and tomorrow, on sick leave, out of office, working remotely or if there are any pending requests which need approval.
If you hover over one of the numbers, it will highlight in blue and show a pop-up message stating the names of the people referring to that number, along with the dates and time frames.
Last but not least, it allows you to be redirected to the list of leave requests waiting for approval. Simply click on the numbers in bold.

The Out of the Office widget allows you to perform many actions:
You can consult the list of people who are on leave, sick leave, away, or on any of the approved types of leave.
The icons for approved applications show in full colour, while icons for pending approval applications fade in and out of colour. Pending applications also show (Pending) in the description.
Depending on your access rights, you can create, approve and decline sick leave requests.
You can consult a Heat Map which will help you planning leaves while taking your colleagues' leave into consideration.

The Staff Leave Balances widget shows each employee that reports to you and their remaining leave balances per leave type. Detailed information about this widget can be found here.

Clocking
The Clocking widget allows employees to clock in and out for the current shift via the Employee Portal. More information about this widget can be found here.
Scheduler
Scheduler
The Scheduler widget shows to the employees their assigned shifts by daily or weekly view. It also shows their recorded clockings, if the setting to view these is enabled by the administrator. More information about this widget can be found here.

The Overtime widget allows you to apply for overtime, handle any overtime requests awaiting your approval or apply on behalf of someone according to your assigned rights. To perform such actions, you will be redirected to the Requests section in the Approval System module.
The view of this widget and the actions you can perform in it are strictly related to how the Approval System module is configured and to the way you use its rules.

My Tasks
The My Tasks widget shows the count of tasks assigned to the employee divided by Task Status (e.g. Overdue, Still on Time, Pending). The tasks are usually created and assigned by who has the proper permissions.
If you click on a status, you will be redirected to the Task Management System view. For more details, on the task management section, click here.

Reporting
The Reporting widget hosts the reports available to the portal user, such as the Leave Situation, Leave History, Clocking Summary, Clocking Details and Attendance Reconciliation reports. This widget allows portal users to see their leave, clockings and attendance in report format whenever they wish.
