Introduction
In this article we'll be covering how to post a manual journal entry in your Nominal Ledger using Indigo Business.
🤔 Remember: A journal entry must include at least two lines using the double-entry method, meaning one debit and one credit to one or more accounts. These amounts must offset each other. If the credits do not offset the debits, the journal will not be posted.

The journal is saved as a draft and flagged with an orange 'Saved as draft' label.
Fill in at least the line items' mandatory fields (those with a red asterisk *) and select 💾 Save. Repeat to add as many line items as needed. The added line items will appear in the relevant grid. More on the fields and the grid ➡️ here.
