Hello Indigo users,

As we move further into June, we’re beating the heat with a cool 🧊 set of upgrades in this release, bringing improvements across our most widely used modules.

All eyes on the Document Manager in HR, celebrating its latest feature spotlight ... Tags! 🏷️ Enjoy a brand-new section dedicated to organising and managing documents, complete with permission controls and support for bulk handling. 💪

Across the rest of the system, improvements target practical pain points in your day-to-days. We're introducing better agility around pending allocations and overtime in Attendance, and more accurate occupation classification in the Job Evaluation Tool. There are also a number of quality-of-life enhancements in Payroll & Leave, including Assembly Point data in reporting and smoother handling of long-running reports.

🗂️ Document Manager

🏷️ New Tags

We're excited to introduce a brand-new Tags section in Document Manager! With built-in permission controls, you can now browse system-generated tags and create your own, making it easier than ever to keep your documents organised and searchable.

Need to manage tags in bulk? No problem. You can import and export tags directly via Excel, so large-scale tag maintenance is fast and hassle-free.

📃 Extended Document Activity Details

And there's more: the Document Activity section in the Details drawer now features a handy View all button. Click it to open an expanded pop-up with a full, filterable, and exportable grid of activity history. See exactly who created or edited a file, all in one place. 🎉

💻 Platform

  • The Company Selector refreshes page data correctly when you switch company, so the information on screen stays aligned with your selection.

  • We’ve refined the Notifications screen layout for smaller displays to ensure key details, such as the Last refresh date and reload icon, remain clearly visible.

  • We’ve included sample content across all email templates to make them easier to complete. A confirmation message is also displayed when unsafe content is found in the HTML code which will be removed upon saving, helping ensure emails are set up correctly before use.

🕘 Attendance

In Attendance, you can now:

  • Approve pending allocation details even after payroll has been processed, giving teams more flexibility when dealing with past entries.

  • Automatically delete pending overtime after a set number of days with a new allocation setting, helping encourage quicker approvals.


🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • When leave is booked from the Payroll & Leave module and replicated into the scheduler, the Target Attendance Allocation correctly reflects the total leave hours.

  • We’ve refined Attendance Exceptions calculations so valid attendance and excess amounts are shown more accurately where one-minute differences occur.

  • This improvement adjusts absence allocation calculations to show more accurate absence amounts in scenarios involving dynamic breaks.

👨🏻‍💼 HR

⚖️ Job Evaluation Tool

  • JET has been enhanced to classify occupations as active only when they are linked to an active employee, helping keep records accurate and aligned with the current workforce.


🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

Document Manager

  • We’ve updated the file icons used in Document Manager for supported upload types to match the latest design.

  • Dates in Document Manager have been updated to the DD/MM/YYYY format to align with the platform convention.

Skills & Training

  • Grid filtering has been improved so newly added or updated records refresh more smoothly after changes.

  • The search field under Skills and Training > Setup resets when switching between tabs, ensuring a cleaner browsing experience.

  • Filtering options for the Employment date column have been corrected to better match the field type.

  • Copying a training item opens the correct pop-up, ensuring the copied record keeps its original type.

  • Validation error shows only once when skill name is missing.

  • Form validation messages are displayed after clicking Submit, allowing you to identify and fix issues without the Submit button being disabled.

  • The Costs column in Reports > Training and certifications shows values as intended and carries them through to export.

  • When opening a cancelled training, the Cancel button remains disabled.

  • Training and certification entries with an invalid start date return a clearer validation message.

  • Import checks been expanded so users receive more complete validation feedback during skill imports.

📱 Mobile App

Android and iOS v4.1.1 are now live! 🚀

🤖 🍎 Android & iOS: The time range for leave taken from different leave allocations is now being shown in full on the home screen.

🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • Leave shown on mobile now reflects leave shown on the portal, as expected.

  • The clocking icon behaves more consistently for a better user experience.

  • We've made some UI/UX font adjustments to the home screen.

💸 Payroll & Leave

  • The Who’s In report brings in Assembly Point information, supporting clearer roll calls during evacuations and during evacuations and helping health and safety officers quickly verify attendance by location.

  • The Pay Item Cost Report gains a new setting to include pay items with zero values, helping maintain a consistent layout across period for easier reconciliation and comparison across periods.

  • Long-running reports open automatically once ready, allowing you to continue working without staying on the report page. You will still receive a notification in the Notification Centre as usual.


🛠️ Fixes and Improvements

  • The ‘None’ option has been removed from the Group Level 1 field in the Pay Item Cost Report, ensuring the report is always generated with a valid grouping.

  • The Direct reports only option in the Edit evaluation manager window now narrows the list more accurately.

  • We’ve improved the employee details header so Year in Service is available even when employment duration is under one year.
