Overview

The Voluntary Occupational Pension Scheme rules are tax measures to encourage employers in Malta to set up pension schemes for their employees.

They were introduced in 2017 and do not affect the Fringe Benefits Rules.

To access the report, go to Payroll & Leave > Reporting > VOPS report.

Generating the VOPS Report

Using the checkboxes to the left of each entry, select the payrolls or employees that you would like to include in the report.

  • You can produce a report per payroll, per employee, for multiple payrolls, or for multiple employees. Switch between payrolls and employees by using the tabs at the top.

  • The sidebar on the right provides various sorting and filtering functionalities.

  • Grouping will group payrolls or employees by the various categories in each drop down.

Once ready, you can generate the report, or send the report via email using the buttons at the bottom right.

If you want Indigo to remember the settings for this report for future uses, check the Remember generated report settings at the bottom of the report setup panel.
