Welcome!

The Indigo team has worked hard to bring you a great new feature called Target Attendance, as well as a new report for Employee Basic Pay Difference, a new printing option in the Scheduler, new information in the hours tooltip within the Scheduler, and several other goodies.

Keep reading to tuck in to this week's update!

New Feature: Target Attendance

We are very pleased to present our new Target Attendance feature in the Attendance module!

Target Attendance is a time-saving feature used to calculate attendance, including excess and leave, over a greater period than daily, such as weekly, biweekly, monthly, and so on. It provides a bird's eye view so that users can compare the actual attendance worked with the target attendance in bulk, rather than on a daily basis; and it automates the variances in excess and absence via Rewards and Penalties that the user sets for Target Attendance.

Payroll Enhancements

  • When a user applies for leave via the Employee Portal, the list of Leave types will only consist of types available to the individual employee for the date range requested.

  • We have a new report called Employee Basic Pay Difference, which compares employees' basic pay at a particular date with that of another specific date, and can be issued in Excel format. To use this report, assign the permission HR_EmployeeBasicPayDifferenceReportPermission. It can be found under Payroll > Reporting.

Payroll Fixes and Improvements

  • Employees with Share Option emoluments are now included in the Electronic Lodgement.

  • In the Payroll Calculation, when overtime is deleted for multiple employees and the user presses 'Finalise' without first recalculating the payslip, a warning with further instructions will be triggered.

  • For greater clarity, the hyphens (-) in the Government Bonus information have been replaced with equals signs (=).

Attendance Enhancements

  • The Scheduler hours tooltip has been updated to include Leave Hours, Overtime Hours, Total (leave + basic + overtime), and Standard Total (leave + basic). The final entry has been amended to Difference (Standard - Weekly). The colours have also been refreshed.

  • We have added a new option to 'Show Employee Cost Centres' when printing the Scheduler in PDF.

Attendance Fixes and Improvements

  • Assigning different types to multiple breaks in the same Shift Preset functions as intended.

  • Allocations are working correctly for Shift Presets with one paid and one unpaid break.

  • In the Scheduler, the standard weekly hours are displayed as intended when clicking on the last column.

  • The context menu is shown correctly when filtering for specific employees.

APIs

  • The Payroll API GetEmployees has been updated to retrieve data for the Next Anniversary Year. Please note if, for example, today is an employee's 2nd anniversary then it will be shown as their 2nd anniversary, and upon tomorrow it will change to 3rd anniversary; this logic is also used for Next Birthday Age. The same API is retrieving the correct information for Next Anniversary Date.

  • When retrieving employees via the API CompanyCode, if the employee start date is 29th February the API will now return the correct next anniversary date.
