What is Schedule Publishing?

Schedule Publishing allows you to create draft versions of shifts and rosters in the Scheduler without publishing them to employees before you finalise everything.

Published Shift: published shifts are shown in a block colour with standard text, and a tick mark in a blue circle in the bottom-right of the cell.

Draft Shift: shifts that are still in draft appear with italicised text and a textured cell background in white and the shift preset's colour, labelled 'DRAFT' in an orange oval in the bottom-right of the cell.

Switching on Schedule Publishing

To switch on this feature:

  1. Go to Attendance > Main > Settings > Scheduler > Publishing.

  2. Tick the 'Scheduler publishing' box, along with the boxes for the desired notifications.

  3. Click save.

  4. This will bring up a message asking 'Would you like to publish all unlocked schedulers with this change?'. Choose Publish or Leave as Draft according to your preferences.

Choosing Publish will publish all shifts in your Scheduler.

Choosing Leave As Draft will leave all shifts in draft mode, which appears with italicised text and a textured cell background in white and the same colour as the shift preset.
