Find out who’s on Leave with a few Taps

Ever been halfway through drafting a request to a colleague, only to suddenly think, "Wait, are they on leave?!" With Who's On Leave, Indigo's got your back! 💪

We're on a mission to stop those accidental messages from landing in the inboxes of colleagues who are off enjoying some well-deserved downtime. And if we can save you the time and trouble of sending yet another 'Sorry, I didn’t realise you were out,' we’ll gladly take that win, too!

For your convenience, the feature is available on the Indigo Mobile app, showing you the information you need just like the browser version, so you can skip the learning curve and get straight in the know with a couple of taps. Whether you’re just starting your day or on your way out, here's how to do it!

The On Leave Tab in Indigo Mobile

To check who is on leave using your phone:

  1. Log in to the Indigo Mobile app.

  2. Select Leave at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap the On Leave tab located in the app's header.

This will bring you to a screen that looks something like this:

By default, the tab will show you who's on leave today, along with:

  • Leave type (e.g., vacation, maternity, sick, or out of office)

  • Approval status

  • Duration of leave (days, months, and hours)

Scroll up or down to view who was on leave in the past or will be in the future. The left and right arrows on the date selector below the header can be tapped to navigate between days.

You can also choose a date manually:

  1. Tap the middle of the date selector.

  2. On the calendar, select a day. To change the month, use the arrows at the top of the calendar.

  3. Click Done.

⚙️ System Note: The mobile app's On Leave tab has been designed to show the same information as the Out of the Office widget in the Employee Portal. Therefore, users of the mobile app will have access to the same information that they have on the Employee Portal, depending on the permissions they are set up with.
